This makes me so happy...worth every penny. Im moving to a new place this year and now i dont have to pay for direct tv.

I think its great... but $340 uhhh... No thank you.

I paid $120 for MLBTV and ive already gotten my worth out of that watching 100+ games but to pay $22 a game for the one team I would buy it for... Not worth it.

its pricy but i have an addiction, and its the only tv i really watch.

i might get it, as i'm stuck with dish network and, i'm a football nerd. Also if you look at the fine text on direct tv's website, the sunday ticket (without the free promo) is usually $335. Thats not including the money you're dishing out for the other services from direct tv

I just wish they had a little bit cheaper option. As I doubt my crappy internet can stream live sporting events in HD

Agreed. $340 is stupidly priced. I just moved so I'm pretty much out of luck for watching the Giants games, but there is no way I can afford Sunday Ticket despite my love for watching my team. My best bet is to probably get NFL Red Zone or try and find a way to watch it online.

Stupid DirecTV.

I'd bay $340 for a lifetime subscription, not just for 1 year.

it ends up being like $1.50 per game, im ok with that....since i could/do watch football all day on sundays and have saved a lot of money in bar tabs since i got the sunday ticket, ill pay that much...it stings, but its an addiction. im just a sheep lol

plus it guarantees me all steelers games, thats just a luxury i need

$1.50 for every NFL game...

$22 for 16 (Insert favorite team here) games.

Honestly If I were to get it, it would be to watch the Packer games and then I would turn on regular TV and just watch whatever games are on there. Other than my favorite team I'm not picky. I just want to watch Football.

It's less than 16 games, because I'm pretty sure every team has some primetime games, which are blacked out.

So you can watch all 16 games from all 32 teams whenever you want?

If it came down a hundred we would be talking, but it's actually a pretty good option. Useful to be able to get Sunday ticket without getting locked into DirectTV.

I'm lucky enough to live in market too. So whatever else I get on Sunday(usually at least 3 games between CBS 1/4 games and Fox games) is gravy.

If I had a PS3, I'd jump on this.

If my bro in law gets sunday ticket like he usually does it says it can be added onto the ps3 for 50 bucks so I'd pay him 50 to get it onto my ps3, problem solved!

It seems kinda pricey but its nice to have another option. For me my only options are to pay up, go to a sports bar every sunday morning and not hear the audio, or to try to find some random stream on the internet. Its expensive but I'd pay it because I'm desperate to see my team.

Just heard on TV that for a limited time only, DirecTV will be giving out NFL Sunday Ticket at no extra charge.

Not sure if I heard right, but that's what was said. It's also on their website on the top right corner in a red box.

No EXTRA Charge, will cost the same as normal Sunday Ticket.

From what I understand, it's for new customers only, meaning they'll sign up for one of the qualifying packages and they'll get NFL Sunday Ticket thrown in for no extra charge. That is, they'll just pay the cost of the original package.

The packages are the Choice Extra, Choice Ultimate, and Premier packages.

They cost $34.99, $39.99, and $83.99 per month, respectively.

It means that if you are a new Directv subscriber you get Sunday Ticket for free for the first year. Not a bad deal if you're looking to switch to Directv anyways.

So is this streaming in HD... in real time? etc.? I know NFL Red Zone is on about a 10-second delay.

The only thing I'm leery of is the fact that my internet connection on my PS3 is a little inconsistent. Sometimes it just doesn't work. I also would not want to watch live football with a lag or buffering....

Anybody know anything about those concerns?

"Yes, the games will be in full HD, and Red Zone Channel is included. The $340 is $90 more than the price of the newly price-dropped PS3, but for football junkies, at least this is progress. And, not having to pay any extra for DirecTV service or a satellite dish setup sounds like a plus."

That settles the HD question, but I would also be interested on the connection issue. I do not have a Blu-ray player or Direc tv, so it may be worth considering getting a PS3 even though I already have an Xbox 360

Anyone have experience with this? I saw some users complaining about the first games broadcast having major problems...

but can't find anything after that.

I think Sunday Ticket was screwed up for a lot of people regardless of whether it was on the PS3 or not in the first week. So those people who are complaining may be because of that. I dont have it so I cant comment on the actual experiencce.

My brother looked into this the other day and asked about it. They said it is having problems and probably isnt worth getting this year. Next year they will probably have the bugs fixed so the broadcast can be good.

We got half off the NFL Sunday Ticket by simply waiting a few weeks into the season.

I am using this right now, and it has been pretty great. The first week, for the first half of the games, it was veeeeeeeeeeery laggy. Choppy, terrible quality, and would freeze every ten seconds for about two minutes. Then it would go back like 10 minutes and start for another ten seconds and freeze. Eventually, every time it froze was during the kickoff, and it would unfreeze to the pregame show.

Second half was okay, but the past two weeks have been basically flawless.

It's not HD, but I don't know if that's due to my connection or other settings I'm unaware of. It takes about five-ten seconds to load a game for me, basically when I change from one game to another. Also, it's delayed by about 10-15 seconds, so if you're following NFL.com and the game on TV, you'll read about it before you see it.

Finally, you don't pay the $350 dollars up front, you pay $80 a month, so maybe if you want to try it out you can pay for a month and go from there.

the first week of the season, both for PS3 and several DTV receiver models, there was a problem with the satellite signal. that was only week one.

I didn't watch the first week but when I watched it week 2 is was pretty solid. 2 slight hiccups but it fixed itself with in about 10 seconds. My video was just below HD when I made sure no one else was using the internet in my place. The sound was a little tinny still though.

Just find someone who has the regular package and then get them to get the 'to go' add on for $50. Snag their log in info = profit!
