I know by you saying massive amounts of countryside you are referring to the part of San Andreas yet the reality is you didn't really spend a lot of time in the countryside. Playing the game the first time around it would probably take you about 40 hours to beat the game and no more of 10 of those hours were spent in the countryside. Some of the countryside missions were pretty fun also. I don't know why everyone hates on the countryside part of San Andreas so much.

It's $200, it's honestly not a big deal. I'm not trying to sound like some rich kid, but really it's ONLY $200 dollars and it will last for around 5 years. I've always been the Sony guy, PS1, PS2, and now PS3. Really I could care less about the money, because the games are the same price and I get to stick with my great Sony. Also, the Blue-Ray disk is a great feature that the 360 doesn't have. It's not worth $200, but it's a great thing. And I don't know how I would be able to handle playing a true Playstation game like GTA on the box!

Take Two is worth about $2 Billion. A console manufacturer only makes about $20 per game sold, so do the math and see how many games they would have to sell to break even on the cost (Not counting development costs for those games).

meh, i disagree. at $200 (on either system, and assuming you're a gamer) it's not a bad deal, moreso given that it appears that most players will be dual format in the future and given that those same players will likely run over 3-500 for the same foreseeable future (assuming no massive leaps forward in manufacturing technology).

i don't see either format winning the way that VHS won, given the backing on both sides. it seems more logical that all players will play both versions (much like DVD recorders are all multi-format).

The HDDVD also was (when I last checked), much much worse. They were going through all the special things you could do, and none of them were available on the add on for the 360.

It's actually "Liberty City".. Modeled after New York.. The same city that was in GTA1 and GTA3. Awesome. I hope they get Lazlo back.
