Yeah. A couple stalled drives with the punt and the fumble created that opening. Whole defense just crapped the bed in the 2nd half.

But Nick Miller is the goat of this team. He didn't help the Raiders score any points with his horrible returns.

How many things went wrong in the 2nd half?

1. Nick Miller. You should not be in the NFL. Go bag some groceries. And cut your dang hair. You're not Clay Matthews.
2. Chris Johnson. Don't think the rest of the secondary is getting off easy, but Chris Johnson you especially crapped the bed against Stevie Johnson today. You took the bait when Johnson started to initiate contact with you, getting flagged for way too many penalties. And then you let him have a field day catching the ball. You've had very good games, but this was not one of them. You had the game in your hands with that pick in the end zone and couldn't hold onto it.
3. The entire Raider secondary. Boyd and Giordano, you were a step slow and couldn't tackle today. You let Jackson and Spiller combine into a Beast Mode Megazord. Branch, you could have ended the game a drive early with a pick in the endzone but couldn't hang onto it--allowing Chandler to catch a big touchdown with 4 minutes left in the game. Huff, you missed tackles and allowed the slot receiver to make too many catches. Routt, you didn't have a lockdown game, but you were okay. You get off the hook. Nice pick.
4. Raiders dline. You came out in the 1st half and set the tone. Then you allowed Jackson and Spiller to run wild and Fitzpatrick to have a clean pocket. You started the 21-0 run by the Bills. You stepped back up at the end of the 4th to disrupt the pocket but you just couldn't close it out. If you just finish one sack, the game is over.

Yeah. DMC's fumble was certainly the turning point. At that point the Bills had just gotten their first TD, but the Raiders were driving with 43 yards and into Bills territory. After that fumble, the Bills scored 2 more TDs in a row and you could tell the momentum and swagger shifted in the game.

But McFadden had a great game with 2 TDs and 143 total yards. He made tons of plays for the offense. I was actually pretty happy with the entire offense. The only stalled drive after the 1st Q was the one immediately after the fumble.

Funny thing is I remember a few years ago the gameplan to beat Dallas was "throw it to whoever Alan Ball is covering for an easy completion" and they did it all game. Yet here we are again, with Alan Ball at CB.


Why is it considered good depth at a position if when that guy gets in he's terrible? Find it hard to believe he was the best we could do. We could have just kept Jacque Reeves if this was the plan all along.
