Couple nice conference matchups. LSU with another ranked ooc opponent but I'm not expecting a good game.

I'm really looking forward to that game. I think I'm a bit higher on West Virginia than most are (I think they are somewhere around 15-17). This will be a good chance to see if I'm a bit too high.

I've heard a lot of people picking WVU for the upset here over LSU, I just don't see it happening.

WVU is going to find out real quick exactly how fast, physical, disciplined, overpowering, and dominant LSU's defense really is at all 3 levels.

These spread teams never have any success against LSU's defense. They're too fast and tackle too well.

How is WVU going to stop LSU's rushing attack, and match up at the LOS?

As long as Jarrett Lee doesn't turn the football over a bunch of times, I don't see much of a game here.

Bayou Bengals win by 10 in Morgantown.

Should be a better ruler/barometer on where we are as a team.

Hopefully we watched Kansas and planned on doing the opposite of what they did.

I haven't watched A&M this year, but if Tannehill plays like he did last year it will be a shoot out. A&M should have a good running game as well. Oklahoma State still doesn't play defense. I think A&M will win at home.

The way SCAR is playing...they're certainly vulnerable to the upset. They had some rough times in all three of their games. And there was a time during each of those games that I didnt think they were going to win. ECU was beating them down for a half and the Georgia and Navy games were resolved late in the 4th quarter.

Anything can happen this week. SCAR can finally get it, or Vandy could kick their ass. lol. I dont know what to expect.

I'll be honest, I don't know much anout Ohio's team this year. But Rutgers seems to back on the page of being a legit team. Sanu is just a freak, and we've got some talent around at WR if they can hang onto the ball. The key for every game is keeping Dodd upright. The D is good enough to get by. Plus we're giving Savon Huggins more touches this game. Bias aside, I'll be extremely stunned if Rutgers loses this game. Again, I dont know anything about Ohio...just that they're...well Ohio.

Yeah I love the additions on the right side of the line right now with Bujari and Johnson. Johnson was such a big get on the final recruiting day this year. Huggins really cost himself with the 2 fumbles but I'd still like to see him again at some point this game. Jamison got his opportunity and is taking it right now. He does a good job getting those extra 2 or 3 yards at the end of the play as well. We're just killing ourselves in the red zone with the fumble and a missed FG from XP distance.

He's totally a something, though. Having him play receiver simply doesn't put the ball in his hands enough. I don't know if he's the starting QB, but they should definitely still run special packages for him. Dude is 3rd in the Big Ten in rushing.

Absolutely. They need to figure something out, but he just cannot be a full time QB.

I don't know what they should do, because he is a gamer and someone you need on the field, but he just can't play QB like at all.

Maybe if they ran plays similar to what ULM ran vs. Iowa today. They would line up 5 wide with their backup/pocket passing QB behind center and their starting/mobile QB out wide. Put the starting QB in motion to the backfield, snap the ball, QB makes a read to hand off to the starting QB or keep to pass. If the mobile QB gets it, he can either run or throw.

On a related note to the Marqeuis Gray discussion the Big 10 does not seem to have any real top flight NFL QB prospects. Kirk Cousins is a 3rd-4th rounder at best. Vandenberg has done some good things as a junior, he has mid round potential based on that. Russel Wilson and Dan Persa don't have the size to be legit pro prospects. Martinez and Robinson are RBs/WRs at the next level. Scheelchase is not a legit Pro QB prospect. PSUs QB situation is a mess (they should just go the McGloin), Indiana has nothing right now (they do have the highly rated Gunner Kiel coming in next year), Purdue has nothing after producing Drew Brees, Kyle Orton and Painter (yea I know Painter is a stretch).

Meh. Those others guys will be solid, but we're seeing with Aaron Curry right now why you don't take an "utterly solid" player that high. Burfict can be a game changer.

If the LSU/Alabama winner and Boise were the ONLY undefeateds, I'd have to believe Boise gets in.

But if there is another undefeated, from a major conference that goes unbeaten, i think they'd jump Boise. But if there are two or fewer undefeateds and Boise is one of them, they're in this year.

I edited the post because LSU-Bama can't have 1 loss unless they both have one loss because I forgot about the SEC Championship game.

The main question is the same though - does a 1-loss with a real schedule jump an undefeated Boise team (which will likely have played two ranked team - and neither will be ranked in the top 10)?

I disagree with those guys as being "solid" guys. Keuchly is very, very good player. Sideline to sideline speed with great instincts. Might be a bit of a compiler because no one else on that Boston College defense is any good, but I still see him being a well above average, if not great NFL linebacker.

Manti Te'o is underrated. Fantastic size/athleticism combination with the ability to go through blocks deliver hits. He's pretty decent in coverage too. Same projection in terms of value as Keuchly, IMO, although he brings different things to the table.

Burfict just isn't consistent enough. He's having a very good game tonight, but I just don't see a finished product yet and there's a little bit of a bust factor there.

They're giving him some ****** flags though. First one (while I understand the new ***** ass rule) was lame (didn't lead with his helmet, or make contact with his helmet). He hit dude in the chest with his forearm. 2nd one (dunno what it even was, they didn't show it), and this last one wasn't a late hit.
