Justa quick question about traveling. After you pick up your dribble, can you take an additional 2 steps, or 3 steps. My dad thinks it's 3, but people from my school say it's 2. I'm lost on this one, any help?

The way they call it in the NBA, it might as well be 3.
But yeah...definitely 2

2 steps. The worst miscalls in the NBA are generally caused by pro hops. It's one of the best moves you can do in basketball but the NBA allows it to be misused (double prohops, 2 steps then prohop, etc.)

i rarely see those. i love using the prohop right after a halfspin and crossover though accompanied with a pump fake then a slam. Always works when I'm driving the lane.

No, people are just saying that because the NBA lets a lot go in the traveling department.
