Woodson just picked off the 50th pass of his career (he also returned it for a touchdown for good measure). Is he a Hall of Fame player in your opinion? I think he's a no-brainer as he has been one of the best defensive players in the league since arriving in Green Bay, has a championship, and has the stats.

Fun fact: Woodson is tied for 2nd all-time with 11 pick 6s.

I don't think it's much of a question he's getting in.

I'll go out on a limb and say he'll get in.

Can we start a "Will Peyton Manning get in the Hall of Fame?" thread...

Either that or Tom Brady.

Most unanimous poll in NFLDC history?

There is probably a butt hurt AFC West or NFC North fan that says no.

My bad guys. I guess before the Packers won the Super Bowl this would have been a more contentious issue.

Just think if he could've stayed healthy when he was with Oakland. He's been our biggest FA pickup since Reggie White.

No, it wouldn't have.

I think it was, but the impact he had on that team and him finally getting a ring put it all to rest.

No he was HOF before the SB.

No he was HOF before the SB.
I'm saying it was more contentious, not that he wasn't.

Not necessarily.

I think before the SB season he was a HOF but not a sure fire first ballot guy. Now he is a first ballot guy for mine(you know unless Brady, Lewis, Manning and Reed were to retire and block him in his first year!)

Woodson seems to be pretty well liked as well which never hurts the candidacy.

No he was HOF before the SB.

Not really. He had a great start to his career in Oakland then he became very average, he was even considered the most overrated player in football at one point. He absolutely, positively had to get the hell out of Oakland to revive his career. And boy did he ever. He's had one of the most impressive second halves to a career I've ever seen in football. Overall, I think his quick start and huge impact with the Packers warrants him a HOF bust.
