Per ESPN.com

Don't know too much about him but from what I read it sounds like he'll be a good fit here. And this basically negates Scott and Boone coming back IMO. And possibly pushes DT down a bit as well on the "need" board.

Good signing. He fits our one-gap scheme pretty well. Not a world-beater and a smaller guy at 6', but espn.com says he's a high-motor player with good quickness. Not a great pass rusher, but should be a good contributer disrupting the run. Solid player who will contribute in the rotation.

The article also says at the end we signed tyrone carter, safety from the steelers, and Ruben Brown to a one year contract. Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy!!!

So, this bascially says that D. Manning will be moving to corner, Hester will move to the offensive side, and that Tillman or Vasher will likely be having their final year as a Bear. So, my bet the safety situation will be something like Arch at SS, Brown at FS, Carter will be a special teamer and Brown's backup at FS, and Harris will also be a special teamer and backup for Arch.

My question is how will the Bears get playing time for Manning at CB? He will likely be the dime back. Might play a little nickle sometimes also. Maybe he will go in on safety on sure pass plays?

Also, I really like the Anthony Adams signing. But losing both Boone and Scott hurts our goalline D, IMO.

Oh, and getting Brown back is huge. This is probably his last year, so lets hope we win it all.

For me to say that would be giving myself credit; it's more like, I don't know jack diddly squat about him, but I'm going to try and learn.

There goes safety as a top pick in the draft..lol
Also with Adams along we may kick back DT as well.
I am very happy Ruben Brown signed.

OLB should be either 1st or 2nd with WR going 1-3.

Hopefully you guys can get more out of A Adams than we did. I dont think he fit our system, he couldnt play Nt or De in a 3-4 defense. But maybe he can play dt in a 4-3...

Was he at least decent? I hear some good things about him. Didn't he play 4-3 in college?

So ESPN no longer has us signing Tyrone Carter in the Adams article and the front page of teh offical Bears board doesnt have anything about him so I think ESPN jumped the gun.
