Some things that surprised me:

Kirk Cousins ahead of Nick Foles
Jeff Demps as the top running back
Ryan Miller ahead of Kelechi Osemele
DaJohn Harris ahead of Billy Winn
Bruce Irvin so low in the outside linebacker rankings
Coryell Judie and Casey Hayward so low at cornerback

I know its not a strong senior TE class but its nice to see Fleener up at #2. He is a pretty good weapon and is probably Stanford's best pass catcher.

Melvin Ingram...mmm mmm.

Kirk Cousins ahead of Nick Foles
It was very close. I am just not a fan of Foles.

Jeff Demps as the top running back
Best of a weak crop of senior runners. Demps is very similar to Dexter McCluster, who was an early second rounder. However, Demps is much faster.

Ryan Miller ahead of Kelechi Osemele
I do like Osemele, but Miller is a heck of a prospect too. Probably a second rounder.

DaJohn Harris ahead of Billy Winn
I kept going back and forth on this one but ultimately went with Harris because he's having a terrific season and there isn't any positional uncertainty. Then again, Winn's ability to play DT or DE and in an even or odd scheme could also work in his favor. Both are Top 100 picks.

Bruce Irvin so low in the outside linebacker rankings
I've been disappointed with Irvin. All the guy can do is line up wide and rush off the edge.

Coryell Judie and Casey Hayward so low at cornerback
Both are mid-rounders, but I just had some other corners I liked better.

We'll have to debate Jeff Demps a bit on the Podcast this week :D

Sounds like we have some very different evaluations. I'd rank Miller as probably a third-rounder, Winn as a top-50 pick, and Judie as a second rounder. Irvin is somewhat of a one-trick pony, but that trick is very important.

Coples hasn't had the season to be the best SR. in the land.. Floyd has played much better at his position than Quinton has.

Not that it matters, but my 2 pennies....

I am a fan of Foles, but I can buy Cousins ahead of him.
Harris vs. Winn is a tough one, but I agree with the ranking for the same reasons you laid out.
Agree on Bruce Irvin, would even put him below Brandon Lindsey

The rest....eh, can't say that I agree with.
- Can't say that I know anything about Ryan Steed or Trumaine Johnson (other than he's tall), but I really like Judie and Hayward. I think Judie is a good touch faster than 4.5 projected. Looks like mid 4.4s to me. Hayward may not have elite size and speed, but his 10 INTs in a year and a half shows me he can make plays. And I was very impressed with his play vs. Alshon Jeffrey, though Garcia was a disaster that day.

- Osemele is one of my favorite prospects in this draft and I seem to have a hatred for all things Colorado. Don't really care either way about the team itself, but I haven't been a big fan of any of their prospects including Nate Solder and Jimmy Smith last year. I just think Osemele has all the makings of an All-Pro OG. Kinda reminds me of Carl Nicks. I like him better than Cordy Glenn

- Jeff Demps as the #1 senior RB to me is outlandish. Demps has had several injuries, missing 3 games last year and being severely limited in 2 others. He's already been limited in 3 of the 6 games this year. And he has only carried the ball more than 15 times in 1 game, twice in his career. Not that anyone is going to mistake Demps for a workhorse, but McCluster carried the ball 15 times in 6 games as a senior. Demps hasn't shown he can handle 1/2 the workload in college without being hurt. That being said, I recently mocked Demps to the Bears (not on this board) because I love his ability in the open field. But any team that takes him before the 5th round is gambling with that pick, IMO.

Interesting to see Amini Silatolu so high up. Have you watched him extensively? I've always been interested in the guy and he seems like he could be a REALLY good LG in the NFL in that road grater mold, but i, for obvious reasons, haven't seen him much (i watched a highlight video of their O, and he just dominated on every play...). Can u give me a tiny breakdown of him, and where you expect him to go? :D

I just don't understand why people love Zebrie Sanders. The guy is a penalty machine and a drive stopper. He plays the easier position on the line and still gets beat. I watch all of our games and I just cannot believe the hype he gets. He's not that good.

I realize it is just seniors which makes it difficult to judge since many won't be 1st rounders.
Just a few comments:
Cordy Glenn looks like an awful fat OLman to me and it is my experience that these types drop on draft day and never see round 1. Pro GM's and scouts dislike college players who won't get into top shape in their draft year. JMO.
Jared Crick looks like he is playing hurt to me and if he has to sit for awhile and isn't in top form for the post season, I could see him dropping. Tough call right now.
Lavonte David is playing like a stud but he looks like a 215 lbder to me with a body type than indicates he may not be able to add much weight. It could cause him to drop quite a bit even though I think he will make an NFL roster as a terrific special teamer at worst.

Finally, I want to comment on Courtney Upshaw who looks like a monster to me and I could see him jumping way up the que.

I know this is a very weak senior class at the top but I was still surprised to see a mid round prospect come in at #4.

Michael Brewster is pretty low IMO. Also surprised to see Jenkins that high still. Anybody watch film on him this year?

I am actually working on a blog entry about Silatolu for Wednesday so watch out for that.

NICE! I've been wondering about him for a while, but there's just nothing on him since he goes to middleofnowhere state. Ill definitely check that out on Wednesday.

Demps might be fast but he's just not a great football player, I don't know why people think change of pace backs in college can be change of pace backs in the pros. If you aren't that great at football it certainly won't translate to the next level.

People like to throw out the Sproles comparison to every small, fast RB. But Sproles was a monster in college and knows how to play the game.

Senior OT class is epicly terrible.

Well that may be but people need to start paying attention to Jeff Allen of Illinois. Best OT in the B10 and possibly the country IMO.

Man, with the way he'd played this year I don't know how you can justify ranking Devon Still below Mike Martin, Billy Winn and DaJohn Harris. Even Ta'amu(who's been disappointing this year) over Still is questionable.

Brandon Thompson and Devon Still have separated themselves from the rest of the pack IMO.
