I know I started a thread on Michael Buchanan, the Illini "bandit", but I had to start one on Mercilus too. Perhaps the best name for a defensive player in the country, and he leads the country in sacks with 8.5. He is also 5th in TFL and has a few forced fumbles as well. He's 6'3, 265+ pounds and very very athletic/tenacious (High 4.5-4.6 type of 40) IMO he can project as a 3-4 OLB or put on even more weight and be a DE. If he keeps up the pace he is currently at, he might be a guy who we're talking about as an early entrant into the draft, though I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back either. Thoughts?
