I wanted to know if anybody is old enough to remember the scouting report on Testaverde coming out of UM. What was his strengths and weaknesses and did he have a lot of hype as the next great QB. I know he won the Heisman that year. Feedback please. I'm not old enough to remember.

Go find a Carson Palmer scouting report. Almost the same exact prospect (extremely similar careers so far too).

Closest thing I could find, prior to Testaverde's rookie season in Tampa Bay, Si article.

Even 8 million a year wouldn't be that amazing anymore lol.

He could bench 350. I remember that from the SI article, also had the ability to make his helmet look like a football.

I bet most people don't get that one.

Care to explain?

A Seahawk fan should explain it, the tears and rage make the story better.

I get it, and we may not have enough Seahawks fans here to get one to explain it.

[Vinny Testaverde] got a 9.0 rating, meaning he's a projected superstar, from the 19-team National Football Scouting combine. But with the seven-team Blesto scouting service, [Brian Bosworth] is tops with a 1.04 rating, in effect a sure first-year starter and near-superstar.

I see Chris Miller was the dark horse who charge up boards late with his arm and athletic ability getting praise.
49ers having picks in the 20s had rumors attached to them. 49ers traded for Young instead.
