Why isn't anyone talking about this guy? Yeah he plays in the Conference USA and is a JC transfer, but in two years, he has 41.5 TFL and 17 sacks so far in his career. He has great size at 6'3 240. Is he going to be in the rankings the next update?

Great size???? He's pretty much a pure 3-4 OLB, so he's quite severley undersized. But he's a pretty decent prospect. Definitely a guy to look out for in the kind of all star games.

one thing that stands out right away in the clip posted by TACKLE is he takes himself out of plenty of plays by getting too deep and playing with very little technique...a liability in run support, his only speciality appears to be getting into the backfield; what he does when he gets back there is a coin toss

Yah, just watching this video, that really jumps out to me. He relies all on his burst and speed, and does almost nothing vs. the run.

THIS. He's playing OLB in a 3-4 and he continuously fails to seal the edge against the run.

I had high hopes for Brown going into the season and breakdown his performance in the UCLA game. As soon as a ball carrier gets one step by him, he gives up. He also gets washed out of run plays.

Is he a dynamic athlete? Yes. He is simply taking advantage of inferior talent at the Conference USA level. He is nothing more than a late rounder and is a back-up at the next level.
