Poe can play 5-tech and NT which are every bit as big of a need as ILB, especially with Dorsey's regression. History shows that Pioli puts a premium on D-Lineman, especially compared to LB. The debate there was between Poe and Jonathan Martin and I went back and forth many, many times on that one. Valuewise, I have them very close and I gave the Poe the slightest edge because of his versatility and Pioli's emphasis on drafting D-Lineman early.

I very much agree with you and really like the fit of all three of those guys you named in their defense. I went with Jeffery as a value/BPA pick that also fills a need...but now I'm starting to think that Jeffery's value isn't great enough, even at #19, to overlook their need at OLB.

Believe me, I thought on that pick for a long time and couldn't come up with any pick I felt really good about. I love Ronnell as an ILB and think he could be a monster at that spot for us. As for the reach, maybe a bit now but he should light up work outs and his stock should continue to rise.

Interesting, I haven't heard to much on the guy, thought you were giving us a pass rusher based on him being a DE and his size.
