"It [the NFL Network package] has certainly been everything we expected, and we do look to expand it and maybe expand our NFL Network package as early as next year," Goodell told me in his Park Avenue office for my "NFL Podcast With Peter King" on SI.com and iTunes.

"We currently have eight games and we're looking at adding additional games as early as next year."

I'm not a fan of Thursday games at all, especially since I don't have NFL Network. Big case of BOOOO.

I do, on DirecTV.

I don't, I have Time Warner Cable.

Tried to make the switch to DirecTV a month ago but the setup of my apartment complex and my douche landlord stops me from getting a satellite dish.

I don't have NFL Network. I just find a stream online. I'm surprised people don't do this more frequently. At least the people here.

I think a lot of people are getting into that NFL on PS3 thing? My parents have NFL Sunday Ticket, so I drive over to their house to watch Niner games.

Yeah I'm poor so I can't do that. If I had money I'd get a big HD television and get NFL Sunday Ticket.

Actually now that I think of it, I wouldn't even do that unless I was rich to the point where getting those things were chump-change to me. If you are a member of tenyardtorrents you can just download every game in high quality with the commercials removed. Some random guy always goes to the liberty of doing that and it's up in the torrent queue less than 24 hours later. If you folks get an opportunity to join that I'd highly recommend it. Especially if you live in another country or you want to dig up old games it's a marvelous treat.

I enjoy Thursday night games, especially with the NBA locked out. If they can tie in the bye week for both teams I think it will be a great idea.

Your getting ripped off then because the cheapest package has NFL network. Call Direct TV and demand it.

I'm all for more televised NFL games, but only on networks where a majority of the country can see them. If they're not on the NFL Network, I'm for it.

I have NFL Network but pay extra for the sports package from my local television provider. I like the commentary on NFL Network more than the local stations but if they're looking to extend to a broader audience base then it would be best if stations like ESPN, FX carried them if not Fox, CBS, ABC, or NBC

I have it and enjoy the games on Thursday night a lot.

I have Comcast and there's a sports package that includes NFL Network, NFL RedZone and all the other major sports networks (MLB, NBA, NHL, etc.) that's like $8 a month and well worth it for RedZone and NFL Network during the season.

I work for my cable company and get cable free. I have NFL Network and I enjoy Thursday night games. I like that I don't have to wait a whole week to watch football again. I would like to see them tie the teams bye week into it though.

Good idea ONLY IF it ties into a team's bye so they don't have to play 4 days after previous game

I only highlight that portion of the poll because I just read that the 49ers are the first team since 1975 to be asked to travel 3 time zones on a short week.
