Meh, you could say the same thing about the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy.

The ending wasn't what made it a worse movie than the first in my opinion. It was the pointlessness of a lot of the stuff that happened and the sheer ridiculousness of the action scenes.

I'm just saying the whole movie was bleh and coupled with a "to be continued" made me need that 8.50 back to buy a small soda from the movie theatre. At least with LOTR they had some epic battle scenes and I only saw the third in theatre.

it def. sounds like it is going to be much better, alot more action is practically promised with all the pirates fighting dave jones and the east empire company(damn evil british)

2 was the typical sequal get it out there while its still popular and set up the trilogy. i on the other hand thought it was good.

but i am soo pumped for at worlds end, its going to be so good, best out of all three

Like everybody else said, Dead Man's Chest was too long and too boring with too many pointless scenes. They tried wayyy too hard to milk the Jack Sparrow character for all it was worth.
