Turns out the fans in PA cause opposing teams to shake in their jock straps.

That's because Philly fans are nothing but assholes.

I'd rather be yelled at by an asshole in Philly than shot in the parking lot in Oakland.

Also, Colts fans at #6? Really? I'm not even being smart. I'm genuinely confused.

The caption says:

Sports Illustrated asked 321 NFL players which team's fans are the toughest to play again. Here are the results:

That's a vague question...toughest to play against doesn't mean intimidating does it? It could just be that they're really loud, obnoxious and distracting cause they're so goddamn ugly.

I was also confused by their inclusion.

I've been to games in both San Diego and Philly and I was actually more afraid in San Diego. It was Eli's first game there so it was fresh in their minds but I went everywhere with a group.

Not my experience. They were nasty. Lots of pissed off Esse's. I don't even know if that is how you spell it.

Bears fans are laid back.

I was also confused by their inclusion.

It's a poll of NFL players. And it appears the players are picking places that are a mix of intimidating in general and also places that are just loud. Hence Seattle and Indy so high on the list.

It's because of the crowd noise they pipe in, it's really frightening stuff

Its also because sometimes they are cheering D-Fence when their own home team is on offense right now. Confuses the heck out of opposing teams.

I went to both games against the Giants and the Jets at the old meadowlands and the new meadowlands and I felt that the jets fans were way worse then the Giants fans. It seemed like different people. I was at the 2008 AFC title game and I rate the Jets fans worse then Steelers fans too.

Jet fans are not bad at all but the Jet fans are usually the younger fanbase as opposed to the Giants which have a lot of 40 and 50 year olds at the games. Jets have alot of the younger fans while the Giants have alot of the older fans is what I have noticed.

Some Jet fans get nasty in the stands especially with beer but you can say that about alot of fans.

The Jet fans have seemingly been louder than NYG the past 2-3 years though but that probably comes with more success in that timespan.

Like Jet fans enjoy Brandon "Meathead" Jacobs doing some stupid crap on the field and the over emphasis on everything Eli Manning.

I imagined the dog whisper training them and laughed plus rep.

When I think of hostile fans I think of the Eagles. From what has been seen and heard around the league throughout the years (booing Santa Claus, cheering when Michael Irvin was hurt with a serious injury on the field, snowballing two 49ers fans a few years back) those fans just seem to be the biggest jerks.

Steelers fans and Packers fans don't really bother me other than the fact that there are just so many of them and they travel well.

I've been to a lot of road games, and I think people we the nicest in Oakland actually. Had to get though neighborhoods of barbed wire to get there, but you'll have that.

Cincy fans are the worst I've ever seen. They're simply assholes down there.
