Anybody else hate those damn corny ass commercials? Who gets a car for Christmas?

The best part is that we're all supposed to know that song/jingle they play, like how the people on the commercial do, and recognize it's a Lexus. Every time it comes on, even if I've already seen it a hundred times, I think it's a commercial for like Zales or some other jewler.

I have been saying this for YEARS! I especially hate the one were the guy has a phone ringing in a box, opens it, gets a new droid, then sees the picture of the car and gets a new car too. Yea ok, like a woman would actually buy a man what he asked for. Oh and no one is getting a new Droid and car for Christmas, that's just an absurd amount of money.

However, there's going to be some rich person who doesn't know what to give someone nor how to give it and they'll use the commercials to help them out.
Also, they realize that right now you guys might not realize it's the Lexus music, however if I walked into your living room on Christmas, played the music and asked what company it goes with, you would know because you have seen the commercial enough. They will have ingrained it into our mind by Christmas.

Honestly I can't imagine too many people hearing that jingle and expecting to run outside and find a brand new car. Especially since that song comes on commercials once a year.

meh....Lexus is a Toyota in a tuxedo. Looks nice but its a freakin toyota at the end of the day. The LFA is probably the only worthwhile car they have IMO and its stupidly expensive, for that price I'd get a Lambo or Aston.

I don't like the idea of Zales or Jared's for Christmas either. I can ebay Russian synthetics for 1/20th the price and they can be brighter(or similar) and last longer than diamonds anyway.
