View Full Version : Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall

What are some opinions on Aaron Dobson from Marshall. Seems raw but has made some insane catches and seems to have the ideal height//weight/speed for a WR. I feel like if you would get him with the right coach he could be an absolute stud in this league.
IIRC he's still considering coming out early, if he does, where does he go and what do you think about him?

Great measurements, incredible hands. Still want to see more of him. He should return for his Senior year.

I see a slighly bigger Jerome Simpson. May struggle against better competition at first. If drafted with a top QB he can be something special. If drafted to a place ilike Jax, it could be a career killer.

I really feel like SD is a great fit for him, which is why i'm asking. They love to go deep with guys who are great at getting sepearation and a QB that places the ball perfectly on deep routs alot. We are lacking a speed receiver, and have a great receivers coach in Joiner and we love those Raw talents at WR. But this is a system where he can make an impact as a deep speed receiver while he's being developed. He seems similar to Laurant Robinson as a prospect but with better hands(both were VERY similar in rawness and physical attributes).
