It amazes me that even ESPN lets this douchbag have his own column. Parker is almost at Jason Whitlock level.

You can always count on the media to say something stupid.

Atlanta is a middle of the road city in terms of attendance. Terrible article.

There is more to fan support than attendance.

That isnt bad for a part of the country that isnt exactly high on the wage scale once you get past the yuppies that work downtown.

I always chuckle about media types that ***** about attendance when they are getting comped to go to games.

once I saw it was on ESPN, I didn't think twice.

they're as NYC-biased as any news outlet.

Regardless, I really hope that Atlanta gets deep into the playoffs. I like to see some underdogging, and I like to see some diversity in the playoffs.

Not to excuse the article, but it is an ESPN New York article. The point is to be NYC biased.

Rob Parker's career has been based mostly from Detroit and the upper midwest, so the bias would probably be there, rather than New York. But this is the same guy that "resigned" from The Detroit News for asking Rod Marinelli if he wished his daughter married a better defensive coordinator (his DC was his son-in-law).

Oh yea. I forgot about that. That was sooo funny... except it wasn't.

Rob Parker is a hack. If any fanbase doesn't deserve to win a game, it's any LA team. Their games are practically silent, even if they are sold out.

Well, I can't speak for the city, but the team sure as hell isn't pressing their case.

2 points with 5 mins left in the game....

Yeah they don't deserve to win.

Its also Rob Parker. He is an unprofessional dickwad of a Packer fan too. Its funny him saying Atlanta doesn't deserve to win cuz he doesn't deserve a job. Remember when he did that thing asking Marinelli about his sister or something. He is just a dumbass.
