Mingo is much better than Montgomery and I'm not sure Henderson has been moved to QB yet for the Canes... I think they want him to drop about 5 pounds before he makes that transition and becomes the RG3/Jared Lorenzen hybrid we all thought he could be...

I think it is the year of the QB.

Matt Barkley
Landry Jones
Tyler Wilson
Geno Smith
E.J. Manuel
Tyler Bray*
Logan Thomas*
Aaron Murray*
Casey Pachall*

Could see all those guys in the 1st Round conversation.

I wasn't that impress with Devin Taylor and I know he is not better than half the defense players on that list.

Seantrel Henderson missed this year with a back injury. Played a lot as a true freshman, but will be hard pressed to live up to his hype this season. I expect him to stay at least one more year at Miami. Missing 2011 really set him back in his development for the NFL imo. If he declares he'd be another Bruce Campbell IMO, only with much more potential of course.

These are the only guys I'm really sold on right now for 2013 as first rounders:

Matt Barkley
Tyler Wilson
Landry Jones
Marcus Lattimore
Michael Dyer
Robert Woods
TJ McDonald
Brandon Jenkins
William Gholston
Jarvis Jones
Sam Montgomery
Barkevious Mingo (as OLB)
Kevin Reddick
Alex Okafor
Manti T'eo

and some of those guys are borderline.

I do agree that the pass rushers next year will be much better quality than the ones we have this year.

I like jumping the gun but usually wait till after the draft at least.

This list I feel is a little off though, Henderson did not even play this past season, and is a massive disappointment so far as a college player. He has way to much work to do and not sure he can accomplish it to become a 1st round pick.

As for Moses Malone, who is that, you mean Morgan Moses of Virginia?

Also Arthur Brown is a better inside linebacker prospect than Kevin Reddick I feel, much better actually.

I agree though, Jarvis Jones, Mingo and Brandon Jenkins are three huge studs in next years draft, Jones could have been a 1st rounder this year if he wanted too. And watch out for Alec Ogletree, that kid is a freaking monster for Georgia as well.

He played this year but wasn't 100%, he looked good when he was on the field but has a ways to go to become the #2 QB in the draft.

He'd probably throw it to himself to get his completion percentage up. Pretty lame attempt at a joke there.

Logan Thomas could have Josh Freeman type stock if he declared after this year, meaning late round one/early round two, but he could be a top ten or even five selection with another two years of development.

No.10 characters.

The original poster has Henderson listed as a QB for some reason...thats the joke.

Also its Tyler Wilson, not Travis.

This Could be a Big Defensive Class, 2012 Offense and 2013 Defense.
Tom Wort
CJ Mosley
Matt Elam
David Amerson
Xavier Rhodes
Dee Milliner
Jelani Jenkins
Jonathan Hankins
Kwame Geathers
Sharrif Floyd
Corey Lemonier
Bjoern Werner
and this is just a List of Potential Underclassmen that could come out. You could add Seniors like Manti Te'o, Brandon Jenkins, All the Safeties If you really need a big time Defensive Player I would wait until 2013 to get a Big Named Guy.

I wasn't that impress with Devin Taylor and I know he is not better than half the defense players on that list.

Any reason? Ingram certainly took the spotlight on the line this season, and Clowney also reduced Taylor's impact(to be expected of an already developed future top five pick), but Taylor still had a good season that played out more than the stats may necessarily indicate. I think he's still certainly a solid defensive end prospect.

Another pass rusher to consider is Jackson Jeffcoat - DE - Texas. I think he's a better player than Okafor. He'll be a junior. Very highly recruited 2 years ago. Yes, hes Jim Jeffcoat former Cowboy's kid. i

yeah, I almost forgot about Johnathan Hankins being eligible for 2013. I think he's a sure fire first round pick. 6'3"/330 and he plays 3 technique at Ohio State. Total beast.

Scott,
Where do think Tavon Austin goes next year and have you looked at Michael Campanaro in 2014?

Just curious what your thoughts on these two Maryland high school guys?
