Hey SPH, I just came across this CLASSIC COMBINE video from you 2 years ago:

Please go to the 1:05 mark and rewatch your comments on OLB prospect Jerry Hughes.
Gosselin & Bob McGinn (2 of the top 5 national newspaper mocksters) both had sources tell them that Hughes was the top target for Ted Thompson there to pair with Clay Matthews, with the #24 pick. But Bryan Bulaga slid way down from a possible top 10 pick, and the Packers had to take him.
Hughes has done nothing at all as a hand down 4-3 DE and the Colts and their fans have given up on him.
But they appear set to switch to a 3-4 now, which means what for Freeney (Mathis is a FA).
Was Hughes a bust, or was he miscast by the comical Colts? They've made tons of mistakes obviously. You seemed very high on his prospects, at least as a stand-up OLB in a 3-4, as I was --and still am.
I want the Packers to trade for Hughes.

Boat may have sailed on Hughes, I would have liked him a 3-4 LB and he may have his shot this year, but the lost years of development just doesn't scream successful career from here on out.

Vinny Curry to the Colts in the 2nd is a perfect fit for me. That's unless they want to try and give Luck a playmaker at WR/RB/TE
