Mencia is a prolific joke stealer. I'm no big fan of Joe Rogan, but anything that gets Mencia off television I support. He steals jokes and he still isn't funny.

He's not full Mexican. Joe Rogan over exaggerated that part. His dad was German and Honduran, his birth mother was Mexican. The Joke stealing part is what you interpret it to be. I never really cared for this guy because he wasn't funny and his show was a cheap fill-in for the absence of the Chappelle's show.

I used to hate Rogan (seemed like a giant d-bag) but the more I hear from him, the more I like him. He seems like a stand-up guy.

That said, I'm not sold on this Mencia stuff. I don't know enough about comedy to really have an educated answer to this, but don't all comedians "steal" from others? Many of the jokes are just recycled and worded differently. That joke about the wall bordering Mexico being built by Mexicans is a classic joke that I don't think any one person can take ownership of.

As for Mencia, not a big fan. Just another guy making minority jokes, nothing innovative.

No, there is a difference between talking about the same subject and doing the same material about that subject. I know what I'm talking about as stand-up is my passion and my profession(or at least working on it). Yeah, the wall thing has been passed around a lot but tell me how this is not theft:

Mencia is the worst comedian in the business. He hasn't written a joke in forever and he's getting fame off of more talented comedians.
