SP is from the UK, so he is almost certainly asleep. I am highly suspicious of him, but I don't like lynching someone without giving them any chance to respond. Knowing SP< his response will suck royally and condemn his fate, but still. I wouldn't be opposed to lynching him tomorrow morning, but letting people speak is always good and can always lead to more information coming out. Someone speaking with a lynch on them can always lead to stuff coming out that shouldn't and it could help us in the long run to exercise a little bit of patience here.

Azkaban has that sort of effect on people. Last time the town was here, fenikz surprised everyone, proving to be un-kissable. This time, the famed Dementors would have a bit more success.

After an incredibly dramatic “kissing” yesterday, the lynching of SuperPacker pales in comparison. The ice-cold hands of the Dementor lifts off SuperPacker’s hood, revealing…

A spitting, shrieking, blabbering Antonin Dolohov. “You can take me away” screams a clearly-disturbed Dolohov, spit flying everywhere as his head shakes. “But you will never take away the Dark Lord! He lives on, and he has many more willing servants to do his bidding!”

“I tortured many of you, your family members too, remember? Good luck erasing THAT! As long as the Dark Lord lives on—and he will NEVER be killed—so do I!”

“Shut him UP,” yelled someone from the crowd. The massive, ten-foot-tall Dementor wasted no time, swooping down towards Dolohov, who was still sending spit everywhere. The Dementor leaned in, and within a couple seconds, it retreated, leaving a blank-faced, now soulless Dolohov sitting still.

The sun rises on the village, shining light down upon the third day of this crazy roller coaster ride that some are describing as another wizarding war. No longer innocently hoping for a deathless night, the villagers poke their heads out of their house expecting to see the familiar sickly green skull hovering above the town amidst a cloud of smoke, a large serpent protruding from its mouth... but its not there. There is no dark mark this morning.

The mood turns festive, as villagers gather in the center of town to celebrate the fact that the Death Eaters came up empty last night!

But just as quickly as the mood turned festive, the town is his with a hard dose of reality when a voice calls out from down the street, causing onlookers to reluctantly begin toward the area.

"I dont know that I'd come and see this if I were you," the voice warns as the villagers come near, "Death Eaters might not have struck last night, but it looks like whatever it is that got CJSchneider and Scottyboy added another victim to its list."

And sure enough, there on the ground in front of the speaker, are the mutilated remains of a corpse. Razor's corpse. But the fact that it was Razor wasn't instantly recognizable due to the horrific damage that his face suffered in the attack. Indeed, this scene is remarkably similar to what we saw yesterday with Scottyboy, as the flesh has been ripped from the body, and chunks seem to have been bitten from the bone. The bloodlust of this sick, murderous individual rages on, and no one has been able to do a thing to stop it.

Razor [Fred Weasley] (Townie) has been killed.

But the hits keep coming. Only a few minutes after the shock of seeing Razor dead, another body is discovered across town.

However, when it's revealed who has been found dead, there seems to actually be a sigh of relief among some of the villagers. Yet, with others, the cries are worse than ever, as though this was the worst thing that has happened to the village thus far. A strange reaction indeed, as the dead body of OSUGiants lies in front of them, apparent victim of the killing curse.

A face that was normally fixed with a large smile which showed every last one of his sparkling white teeth, OSU's face is now frozen in fear. His body seems to have been handled in the same careless fashion as diab's the night before, as though done in by a mad man who is simply disposing of bodies that get in his way as he attempts to lay claim to one single kill that he's truly obsessed with achieving. OSU's body is then carried off, showing everyone the full scene.

People are taken aback upon entering his house, as there are dozens of paintings lining his walls, all of OSUGiants himself. In the wizarding world, portraits have special capabilities, not only allowing the occupants of the painting to move, but allowing them to communicate with wizards and witches who wish to speak with them. These numerous portraits of OSUGiants however, are useless. All they do is beam arrogantly at the villagers who enter the home, smiling OSU's obnoxious pearly white smile, and wandering aloud if they've come to get an autograph from OSU. Apparently, all of the OSU portraits were fast asleep when the murder occurred, sleeping masks covering their eyes as they snored loudly and muttered thanks to all of their rabid fans in their sleep.

Inspecting the home further, we see fan mail lying everywhere, ready for OSU to write back with one of the many ridiculous feathered quills stashed on his desk. Elsewhere, there are stacks of notebooks FULL of heroic deeds performed by other witches and wizards, people who will never get credit for their work, because OSUGiants would cast a memory charm on them and claim their adventures as his own, as a way to sell books.

On his desk lies a large piece of parchment, with self written comments pertaining to the claims that he publicly made in the first two days. These include such laughable comments as:

"Upon investigating D Unit, I noticed that he has a strong chin, much like myself! I daresay a man with such qualities couldn't possibly be guilty of any sort of crime! As such, I've decided to announce to my loyal followers tomorrow that he is an innocent man. My portraits agree wholeheartedly!"

"The conclusion that I came to upon looking into the matter of Matthew Jones is that I have no real conclusion! And why is that? Because after deciding to investigate the matter, I realized that I don't actually know where the scallywag lives! Naturally, I returned to more pressing matters, such as signing autographs! But as I did so, a question nagged at me. Should I tell my fans that Matthew Jones is guilty anyways? I mean, I don't actually know a thing, but something like that could make a splash in the headlines! Surely, they'd have no trouble believing someone of my prestige... but what if Matthew Jones is one of my fans? I do enjoy reading my fan mail... ah, fame sure is a fickle friend. I suppose I'll just come out with the story that he blocked my investigation! That's sure to stir the pot!"

It's clear why the initial reaction took place upon seeing OSU's body. Half of the village, those who cried at the sight of his body, believed his fabricated tales. They probably asked him for autographs at every turn, and belonged to his fan club.

Those in the know however, realize that OSUGiants was never any true help to the cause, try as he might to act like he was. The facts are, nothing OSUGiants says can be trusted, as big a celebrity as he was, because all he cared about was fame. He didn't at all care about actually being correct in his wild proclamations of innocence and guild, he simply made the claims in hopes that it would bring more attention upon himself.

OSUGiants [Gilderoy Lockhart] (Incompetent Investigator) has been killed.

Luckily, there are no more deaths after this. But there is something else. When the villagers first see it, they freeze on the spot. The outline of something huge and curved is visible through the morning fog in the muddy field behind the houses, on the outskirts of the village. Whatever it is, it doesn't move.

"Maybe its asleep..." one of the villagers breathes cautiously.

Several villagers have lifted their arms up and pressed their hands over their eyes. Over the past few days, following Snicho being petrified, there had been rumors of a basilisk—A giant serpent who turns people to stone if you look it in the eyes—on the loose. Could this be it?

Very slowly, their eyes as narrow as they can make them whilst still being able to see, a few of the braver townspeople edge forward, their wands held high. The fog thins out, and light slides over a GIGANTIC snake skin of a vivid, poisonous green, lying curled and empty across the muddy ground.

The creature that had shed it must have been twenty feet long at least.

"Blimey!" one of the townspeople says as he takes a deep breath, no longer as tense as he was a second before.

The villagers encircle the giant snakeskin, visual proof that something HAS been set loose in the town. But how? And by whom? And how on earth will they be able to stop it if it makes another appearance in the town? Shaken by the discovery of the snake skin as well as the two deaths, the townspeople make their way back to their homes to deliberate just who deserves to be taken to the dementors today.

With 28 people remaining, 15 votes are needed to reach a majority.

We should discuss the exchange between TACKLE and ROP. Like I said one of them is clearly evil as their stories conflict so we should focus on finding out which one it is. At first I thought it was a slam dunk for TACKLE but after he explained what happened and ROP's response was pretty incoherent I'm more inclined to side with you on this one.

With a consensus on who the guilty party is, Rob S was led to Azkaban island to receive the Dementor's Kiss.

A chill sweeps over the villagers as the cold that comes with these foul dark creatures get under their very skin. Dread pours over them, and they begin to feel that they'll never be happy again. These are the effects that a dementor can have on a person, but they aren't even remotely close to the worst they can do.

Rob S is displayed front and center as several of the foul creatures glide all around, feeling—rather than smelling or seeing—the mouth watering soul down below, just waiting for them to suck out of him. The ten feet tall hooded abominations sweep down upon Rob S, holding their glistening, decayed, slimy-looking hands out toward him. One dementor removes its hood to perform the kiss on Rob, revealing a greyesh, scabbed head, with no distinguishable features on the face except a large hole where the mouth on a human should be. This is what they use suck out a persons soul.

Rob squeaks in fear, thrashing around, doing the best that he can to escape. When the dementor is an inch from his mouth, and the process is a split second away from beginning, he tries it. He tries escaping.

Seeming to disappear in an instant, Rob's clothes hit the ground, no physical body remaining inside of them. The dementor turns his head back and forth, confused, no longer able to feel the presence of Rob in front of him. The crowd looks on just as baffled, until they all gasp. From the pile of clothes emerges a small rat, who does his best to try and slip away through the tall grass!

Rob, it seems, is an Animagus. A wizard that can turn into an animal at will.

"Oh no you dont!" a voice calls, sending a spell at the fleeing rodent, freezing him in place, and slowly transforming him back into the small, watery eyed man that everyone knew as Rob S. Once again apprehended, Rob begins to squeak more then ever. The dementor, re-noticing Rob's presence, quickly turns around and heads right at him. And before we know it, the dementor has performed the kiss, and Rob S falls limply onto the ground, having suffered a fate worse than death. He is now soulless.

Another day, another series of deaths. The townspeople pull themselves up out of bed, not wanting to face what they know is about to come. And sure enough, they look out their windows and see that yesterday, when they were so relieved to see that the Death Eaters had not struck, was an aberration. Once again hanging in the sky above the village is the ominous green skull, signal of The Dark Lord, and an unmistakable sign that The Death Eaters have killed yet again.

When the villagers arrive on the scene though, it's not what anyone expected. There isnt only one body here, but two!

First, killed by what was no doubt the killing curse, is TACKLE. Lying on the ground in front of his house, his clawed stump of a foot and his magical eye prominent as ever, TACKLE joins the long list of important members of the Order of the Phoenix to fall victim at the hands of the Death Eaters. Once again, a specially trained dark wizard catcher has been killed.

TACKLE [Mad Eye Moody] (Investigator) has been killed.

But here is where things begin to get strange. On the ground next to him, dead as a door nail, is D-Unit. At least, it looks like D-Unit...

While TACKLE was killed cleanly with the killing curse, dying instantly, it doesn't seem as though D-Unit was as fortunate. Like CJSchneider, Scottyboy, and Razor before him, D-Unit has been ravaged by a sick, animalistic, flesh eating psychopath. His robes torn to shreds and bits of his face completely missing, it's now clear that Death Eaters should be just as fearful as the rest of the town when it comes to the savage killer behind this attack.

D-Unit [Lucius Malfoy] (Role Blocker) has been killed.

Covering up the bodies, members of the village begin to piece together what might have happened. The most likely explanation, its decided, is that D-Unit came calling to TACKLE's place of residence, murdering him and firing the Dark Mark into the sky. It was at that point that the... thing... thats been attacking the villagers arrived, feasting on D-Unit's now half missing body.

All of the villagers that were so intently trying to replay the crime scene are brought back to reality as a loud cry of agony reverberates through the streets of the village. The townspeople hurry to the source of the scream, and find out very quickly what caused it.

Matthew Jones, a very controversial figure in the village over the past few days, lays in a heap in between two houses, as though carelessly discarded there after her death. The idea of a bloodied and mangled body like D-Unit's is obviously not a pretty sight, but this might be worse. The sight of a little girl, cold as ice, no life left in her... it's not something that you can just brush off.

And what is that in her hand? Not her wand... that's on the ground next to her leg. It looks like... a book? One of the villagers step forward and kneel down next to her, taking the small black book out of her lifeless hand. At once, it's clear that its a diary, and the faded year on the cover tells us that it's over fifty years old. The villager opens it, and can just make out a name on the first page, this book belonged to T. M. Riddle.

Matthew Jones [Ginny Weasley] (Possessed Townie) has been killed.

With 24 people remaining, 13 votes are needed to reach a majority.

ANOTHER investigator. Great. I'm not sure what a Possessed Townie would do, but I doubt he was on our side. At least some.. THING killed Lucious, but we paid an even greater cost. Losing TACKLE really hurts.

I don't know yet. The ones that were at the top of my list like everyone else was Tackle and Matt Jones but obviously those were incorrect.

I have to look back and see what I can find. The difficult part is that almost everyone is contributing but they are talking HP lore. Thus not really contributing to the discussion at hand but being active.

Just re-reading. Todd, Drew, and TBW were all VERY slow and indecisive on an easy lynch of Rob.

Add to this Todd was one of the last ones to vote for SuperPacker.

EDIT: He was also one of the last 5 or so to vote for Fenikz

Currently I would say he is #1 on my list.

Todd is certainly up there. BoE might just be a drunk.. broth, I have no idea.. Jvig and Todd are 1a and 1b for me right now.

It might also be worth noting that Grizz and Jydrylie have barely participated this entire time. Goose as well. Trying to lay low, maybe?

I'm not sure who the town drunk would be in Harry Potter lore but I too agree that BoE is it. Was it broth yesterday who said he would unleash furry on the town? That was really weird.
