Two tackles, Shane?
Thats surprising to me. Any specific reason?

Fixed it up, was due to a late edit. I think Buffalo could definitely target a pass catcher at some point today, whether WR or TE.

Glenn and Wagner would be a really nice 2nd round haul for the Ravens. Streeter is okay in the 3rd round.

For the Rams, I'd take Randle over Hill as someone who can come in from Day One and help the St. Louis wide receiver corps, where I think Hill is going to need some serious development.

Love the Lavonte David pick. Robinson @ 45 is solid, but with Konz still there and the Rams' gaping hole at left guard in my mind, I'm wondering if he wouldn't be better. Maybe Allen in the third gives the Rams some versatility on the line, but I'd go OL before CB with that pick in this scenario.

Anyways, great job, Shane! Thanks for the great coverage!

after watching Sabby Piscatelly post Berry injury I'd like to see us go S in the 3rd.Allen, Ioka or Taylor would be my preferance

Quick to Minnesota pleases me.

I'm not a big fan of Trumaine Johnson because he is a terrible tackler who lacks any semblance of form but he has been linked with New England recently so that's a possibility. Kendall Reyes seems realistic.

Winn over Ta'amu for Denver? NO WAY. And Osweiler is crap. Ryan Broyles please.

Man, it's not a bad draft, but I'd be PISSED if we went into next season with Marvin Jones as our #1 receiver. That would be catastrophic IMO.

Now Fleener and Jones would not be a bad combo. :D

I'm almost certain that Denver will come away with Brock Osweiler or B.J. Coleman. I really like the idea of bringing in Coleman to back up Peyton Manning as a fellow Tennessean who has modeled many aspects of his game off of Manning but the Broncos seem extremely interested in Brock Osweiler. Every important member of their organization went to Arizona to take a look at him during the pre-draft process: Elway, Xanders, Fox, McCoy, and Gase. They could even take him at #36 (my condolences if they do.)

Marvin Jones also caught only 50.1% of the passes thrown at him last season, which was the lowest number I can remember for one of the top wide receiver prospects (some were over 70%.) For a player who's considered to have a wide catching radius it was surprising to see that. I always felt like he caught too many passes with his body.

Oh, ok.
And I think we're going to go either OT/WR, or WR/OT. Someone asked Nix in an interview if we'd be taking a TE in the draft and Nix said no. So we can take that FWIW. He's generally a straight shooter

I'd be pretty happy with that draft for NE. S and DE. Defense upgrade complete.

Like the Buc's pick.

I would take Peter Konz over Trumaine Johnson there, Konz would be nice value and we could use another interior ol

That's true. Konz would be better value there.

Give us Markelle Martin instead of Polk and that is a near perfect Packers draft. Polk adds noting to what we already have. I'd be down if we decided we wanted to trade up for LaMichael James or Pead, but not Polk.

After losing a TE in free agency i could see Carroll taking Fleener.

22 (54) Lions Jamell Fleming CB/Oklahoma
23 (85) Lions Lamichael James RB/Oregon

This looks really good. I'd be very happy with this.

Great 2nd rd, Shane!

Raiders target interior line-offense last yr. in the 2nd with Wiesnewski their center, now take Josh Chapman on the zero spot on defense with thier 1st pick in this draft.

I think that since Dallas had no 2nd rounder they would go o-line with their next pick (3rd rd).

I'd be pretty happy with going Amini (my favorite G in this draft) and Ronnell, but I think T-Rich is right. S in the third is probably a better bet.

JBond, I would literally take any of the next eight picks over Reuben Randle. Giving the big edge to Fleener. I badly wanted Fleener to the Browns at 22. As I said, I don't care about need, I'm all-in on Fleener. I've hopped on the bandwagon.

And really... he is basically a WR anyway

I know you love Fleener and I am with you, I'm not a big Randle fan, just think if Hill is gone will be another WR or RT.

Any news or rumblings about Osi? If so, in the 3rd Johnathan Massoquoi is appealing

I think the discussions to trade him will continue.

With our first selection if Vinny Curry is setting there I'd have a hard time seeing the Titans pass on him. We do need some help at DT, but we selected 3 of them last year, so I would see us taking the value at DE over DT.

In the third I think i'd prefer Markelle Martin although I'd be ok with either. Overall nice work

Yeah another dip into the trenches for Pittsburgh would be great. I don't know who'd I prefer though. They are going to have to go OLine and DLine at least one more time a piece before the end of this draft. I like Kendricks but not enough with who was left on the board. I'm fine with Pead in the 3rd.

Nothing to nitpick on the Jets, both players fit what it seems like they're looking for at two need spots. I'd kind of prefer the value of Massie or Curry in the second, but I could easily see them doing what you have.

Not a big fan of picking a TE since we already have a good trio. Guard in the second could very well be altough you never know with Baalke.

Trumaine Johnson to the Patriots in the 2nd with the last of the Seymour leftover picks made me grin.

Coach Hoodie going pass defense & more pass defense this draft
