Yea, and then we are stuck with the same safeties, OL, ect as last year. We happen to have a few injuries like last year and we would still have no team depth. Sound familiar?

We have been drafting for for depth for years and never made back to back playoffs.

Here a chance to land a player that does come very often.

Mike Vick has never had a number one WR and we are finally in a postion to take a wr that can give more options and respectablity.

We will not have draft a safet if we trade for oneal. Also we are ready to give up on crocker and we just trade for him last year.

Oneal is a CB, what would that have to do with us drafting a S? Crocker is a SS, he would be Milloy's backup. Know something else vick hasn't had? AN OL.....

IMO the 2 players that would help us the most are OT Joe Thomas and RB Adrian Peterson. the 2 players that we have a shot at that woudl help us out the most would be RB Adrian Peterson at #8 and OT Tony Ugoh at 39. then a guy like Charles Johnson at 44 would be a coup.

Ugoh over Staley or Sears ?
What would be the chances the Cards move their 2nd rounder this year and conditional picks to move into the 28th slot of the pats ?
This way you could take a premeir talent like Gaines Adams at 5, trade just ahead of Baltimre and "steal" Staley from them.....granted it might cost a bit, but wouldn't that be better than hoping Joe Thomas falls and then not having a plan if he gets taken before 5 ?

..just a random thought.

I pray the Bucs don't pass up Johnson at 35, so hopefully that won't be a coup. He should have returned for his senior year anyway though....

We are the Falcons my friend, please do not get us mixed up with the inept Cardinals...

I think we will draft Landry if we stay up at 8, barring some guys dropping to us. I don't like the pick that much, as I'd rather have Nelson, but it's still a great pick. Then with our first 2nd rounder, draft Charles Johnson if available. He is very productive, and has a good variety of spin moves, and power moves. He would be a great addition to play opposite Abraham, and give us a pass-rushing tandem everyone fears.

Landry(assuming he starts)-70 Tackles, 2 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR, 5 Pass Def
Charles Johnson-30 tackles, 8 sacks, 3 FF

my bad had 2 browsers open at once and got this board and the cards boards mixed up...hahaha...oops.
Someone mentioned on the Falcon board before that the team needed a kicker and suggested Mason Crosby ...I still think that's a good fit.
Indoors, massive leg. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see him end up there.
