Rather than just give a random number, i'm predicting game by game. I'm also factoring in some upsets.

1. @ Packers- W
2. Lions- W
3. @ Vikings- W
4. @ Jets- L
5. Bills- W
6. Giants- W
7. Seahawks- W
8. @ Cardinals- W
9. Bye
10. Rams- W
11. Bears- W
12. @ Saints- L
13. @ Rams- L
14. Dolphins- W
15. @ Patriots- L
16. @ Seahawks- W
17. Cardinals- W

12-4

Least confident (projected) win- Packers, Week 1. Packers have a great O, 49ers great D. Both teams beefed up their weaknesses on the other side of the ball. Will the Packers D and/or 49ers O improve enough by week 1?

Most confident (projected) win- Vikings, Week 3. I think Frazier might be one of the worst coaches in the NFL, and i think he'll get fired after the season.

Least confident (projected) loss- Jets, Week 4. Jets aren't that great a team overall but they have a good defense and that can cause SF fits. Also...Tebow Time?

Most confident (projected) loss- Maybe STL. I think Fisher has that team playing solid football by the end of the year on route to a 7-9/8-8 type record, and they'll be tough to beat.

Chicago Bears:

1. Indianapolis Colts- W (1-0)
2. @Green Bay Packers- L (1-1)
3. St. Louis Rams- W (2-1)
4. @Dallas Cowboys- L (2-2)
5. @Jacksonville Jaguars- W (3-2)
6. Bye (3-2)
7. Detroit Lions- W (4-2)
8. Carolina Panthers- W (5-2)
9. @Tennessee Titans- L (5-3)
10. Houston Texans- W (6-3)
11. @San Francisco 49ers- L (6-4)
12. Minnesota Vikings- W (7-4)
13. Seattle Seahawks- W (8-4)
14. @Minnesota Vikings- W (9-4)
15. Green Bay Packers- W (10-4)
16. @Arizona Cardinals- W (11-4)
17. @Detroit Lions- L (11-5)

Least confident (projected) win- Packers, Week 15. This game is late in the season. It could very likely determine the winner of the NFC North. The Packers, already a talented team, will likely come into this game with some serious passion. Rivalry game, division on the line, first round bye on the line. This one is going to be tough.

Most confident (projected) win- Rams, Week 3. A lot of people are projecting the Rams to be one of those teams to take a huge step forward this year. I am not one of them. Sam Bradford doesn't scare me at all and I think the defense is good enough to slow down the running attack.

Least confident (projected) loss- Titans. I think the Bears are a better team than the Titans. But I do think, if Locker starts, Tennessee will make the playoffs. This should be a very close game. Since it is on the road, I give the Titans a very slight edge.

Most confident (projected) loss- Packers week 2. The Bears are going to lose to the Packers at least once this season. And the obvious signs point to this being the game we lose. It's in Green Bay, we'll still be breaking in new receivers and a new offense, and Green Bay is really good. This game will be close on the scoreboard, but I'd be utterly shocked if the Bears win it.

11-5

Least Confident Win: Chicago- I think this is going to be a great game and could go either way. That said, I like our passing game against the Bears D and I think there's enough of an edge there for us to come away with a W. Playing at home doesn't hurt either.

Most Confident Win: Cleveland- I just think we have too much offense for them to keep pace.

Least Confident Loss: Carolina- I'm picking the Panthers as a sleeper Wildcard team for the NFC this year, if not winning the South outright. Newton scares me and we have a history of struggling against mobile QBs. However, this loss is strictly pinned on Newton going off against us, and he hasn't proved to be consistent yet. If he has an off game we could win this easily.

Most Confident Loss: Philly x2- Vick has owned us since he got to Philadelphia, we just haven't had an answer for him and his stable of playmakers at RB and WR. We've just been a bad matchup with them, maybe it changes this year but I need to see it before I become a believer.

The games I think New England could have a hard time with are in bold:

New England Patriots

at Tennessee

Arizona

at Baltimore

at Buffalo

Denver

at Seattle

New York Jets

at St. Louis (London)

BYE WEEK

Buffalo

Indianapolis

at New York Jets

at Miami

Houston

San Francisco

at Jacksonville

Miami

Ultimately I think New England should go at least 13-3. The Patriots got lucky by playing Denver, Houston, and San Francisco in Foxboro, so the Ravens game is probably the one that stands out as the toughest. I figure the Ravens could win that one, and then New England will lose one of the other ones and maybe one in the division.

Least Confident Win- NO; I think they'll tank this year without Payton. But if they don't...

Least Confident Loss- at ATL; I picked that game simply because I don't expect a sweep of NFC South opponents.
Most Confident Loss- NYG; Obvious.

Predicted 10-6

Least Confident Win - Week 11 Green Bay AT DETROIT - I think this will be a relatively down year for the Pack but you can never count them out even in Detroit.

Most Confident Win - Week 4 Vikings AT DETROIT - AP may not return by then and without AP the Vikings are SCREWED!

Least confident Loss - Week 7 Detroit AT CHICAGO - Generally speaking the offenses takes a big hit after Mike Martz leaves the team what can Tice do with this team? Also the longer Matt Forte holds out the better chance he gets injured.

Most Confident Loss- Week 6 Detroit AT PHILADELPHIA - I was in the Link for the last time the Lions went there. Wasn't pretty. The Eagles are a much improved team this year.

Least confident projected win: Atlanta Falcons. It's at Arrowhead, which is a plus, but they have some firepower on that team.

Most confident projected win: Indianapolis Colts. Rookie QB gunna get MUNCHED by Tamba and JHou.

Least confident projected loss: We played the Steelers close last year (losing 13-9) without Charles, Berry, Moeaki, or Cassel. With them back I think we might be able to hang.

Most confident projected loss: Saints. Drew Brees will be back in the starting lineup and that team is far too dangerous.

13-3 and win the Division and get the #1 or #2 seed

More realistically, though, this is what happens

Packers start out 5-0

the they get hit with INJURIEEEEZ

lose 3 straight

win 3 straight

THE MORE INJURRRIEEEEZ

somehow finish around 11-5 with INJURRRIEZ

I agree with most of this. I think we're going to kill the Seahawks though. Also, I think we got lucky with the injury to Suggs, who'll likely sit out the game against us. Suggs usually plays very well against the Patriots so I'm sure they'll miss him more than anybody when the play the Patriots.

13-3

I am going to say this is the year Fewell gets his head out of his butt for a whole regular season. If there are no big time injuries, I think 13-3 will be our record. Probably a big time over estimate but then again, 2008 season we had a great year following our SB win.

Another option is we go 9-7, make the playoffs, and get a high seed, and then do what we do, and beat the teams that beat us during the regular season, of course at their house!

That's true. "Sources tell the Buffalo News that Ryan Fitzpatrick's midseason injury in 2011 included four cracked ribs and an injured sternum."

Spiller was fire when Fred went down. Chan needs to get FredEx 15-20 touches and Spiller 15-20 touches per game.

Record - 6-10.

Least Confident Win - Buffalo, 12/23/12. If Buffalo is in playoff contention at that point in time, I think its going to be tough to pull it out. There's also a good chance Tannehill will be starting by that point and he'll have his lumps for sure.

Most Confident Win - New York Jets, 9/23/12. Miami has only lost to Rex Ryan once since he's been the Jets head coach.

Least Confident Loss - Oakland, 9/16/12. Matt Moore is likely to be the QB still and that's a really far trip for Oakland.

Most Confident Loss - Either Patriots game.

Overall, Miami has a pretty easy schedule this year as I look at it. I know a lot of people think they are a candidate to have the worst record but the defense should keep them in most games and I think they'll get to 5-7 wins with that schedule. It all depends if/when Tannehill gets the reigns handed to him as there are a number of winnable games late if Moore starts the whole year.

Wait. You said the Chiefs would go 13-3 and to the AFC Championship, but your willing to trade Cassel. Makes a lot of sense.

Yup.

Traditionally, we do tend to split every year despite how good/bad our teams are but we haven't beaten you guys since 2009 so I'm done predicting us to win against the Pats haha

I was going to say we are set for an awful season but we got about as good a schedule as we could possibly hope for...

Winnable games Jaguars, Colts, Titans, Cards, Bucs, Seahawks and Rams.

So say we win 3 of those and steal an upset or two we should get to about 5 wins.

So... 5-11 would be my pick, best case we can probably win 9 games but that would be an absolute shock. Worst case we could lose every game. A lot will depend on how the new look OL goes and if Peterson can come back and be a star still because we still have an awful lot of holes and a serious lack of playmaking.

If Bradford is the guy (and I think he can be), then the Rams should do better than 5-11 this season. I'd guess 8-8, even with the coaching change.

It's difficult to pick out eight wins when looking at the schedule for St. Louis. @ DET, @ CHI, GB, NE, @ SF, NYJ, SF, @ BUF are all going to be very tough games for the Rams. That's seven losses already. Their other nine games are WAS, SEA, ARI, @ MIA, @ ARI, MIN, @ TB, @ SEA. I think you could make a pretty good argument that they're the underdog in most of those games as well. Jeff Fisher should help the Rams turn things around, but their schedule doesn't seem very conducive to success right now.

In recent history, us being in contention associates with it being more likely that we will lose :(

I think you might be the only person that pegged a Bills game as a loss, though. You'll all see!

I think St. Louis has a chance to beat the Jets and I think they could steal a game from the 49ers. The other games you listed could result in four more wins. 6-10 is probably the ceiling though.

Browns

1 :: 9/9 vs. Philadelphia Eagles L
2 :: 9/16 at Cincinnati Bengals L
3 :: 9/23 vs. Buffalo Bills L
4 :: 9/27 at Baltimore Ravens L
5 :: 10/7 at New York Giants W :: we always beat the SB champ
6 :: 10/14 vs. Cincinnati Bengals W :: usually play the division tough and I think we are closer talent-wise than last year
7 :: 10/21 at Indianapolis Colts W :: the defense makes life tough for the #1 pick
8 :: 10/28 vs. San Diego Chargers L
9 :: 11/4 vs. Baltimore Ravens W :: see 10/14 notes
10 :: Bye
11 :: 11/18 at Dallas Cowboys L
12 :: 11/25 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers L
13 :: 12/2 at Oakland Raiders L
14 :: 12/9 vs. Kansas City Chiefs W :: Haden pick-six from Cassel to seal it!
15 :: 12/16 vs. Washington Redskins L
16 :: 12/23 at Denver Broncos L
17 :: 12/30 at Pittsburgh Steelers L

I mostly just picked some random stuff to happen. There's some thought behind it too, but we all know it's a crap shoot anyway. I expect the defense to keep growing and to keep us in most games, which should give us a chance to steal a couple.

With a Vikings fan predicting a win for the Seahawks and a split vote between 2 Niners fans for the Niners@Seahawks contest, that's 1-11 or 2-10 with no predictions from the Rams or Cardinals fans. 1 Patriots fan did say Patriots@Seahawks would be "tough", but another responded by saying the Patriots would "kill" Seattle, so I counted that as a loss.

So anywhere from 1-15 to 6-10 for my Seahawks.

I really think the seahawks can be a contender. If I were to go by people's rankings on here. The bucs would be 0-16. I do not think they are that bad. Honestly I think they can be a .500 team. People on here just look at these teams from last year and assume that is how they are going to be, but yet everyone is different. I do think Josh Freeman is a horrible QB, but I think the running game will kick ass. The defense is not that bad either. The hawks and bucs will be a lot better than what people on this site believe.

I think the Bucs floord is 3 wins if everything goes poorly. At the end of the day, I think they can win 6 games. As for the Seahawks, it all depends on Flynn. If he is good, they could be 10-6. If he turns out to be like Kolb, they would likely go 4-12.

I really think the bucs can be a .500 team. I can see them pulling off an upset over nyg and san diego. They are not as bad as what they were at the end of the season. Before the first panther game. They played good teams such as the saints, lions, bears, titans, and packers real well. I really think if they tried they could of won a few more games at the end. Josh Freeman does worry me a bit. I really think Tampa will be getting a new signal caller next year. Most of the success from this season is from their awesome running game and hell of an o-line. Two out of the three pro bowl guards are on that line and a one year removed pro bowl tackle from Penn who should of made it this year. Why I like Doug Martin as a possible OROY the year candidate.

Well, if Flynn sucks, they can always go with Jackson who was able to go 7-9 with a turn labrum. If the pass rush improves with Irving and the young linebackers step up, 7-9 with terrible QB play like last year is still possible. The defense looks very very promising.

@ Bills L 3-10

@ Buccaneers W 5-10
@ Seahawks L 5-11

Most Confident Win...Come my team is the Rams, I am not confident in any win. Pin me against the wall and make me say one, the one against the Vikings.

Least Confident Win...@ Buccaneers, I am predicting the 2011 Bucs will show this season, not the 2010, but if it is the 2010, we ain't winning.

Most Confident Loss..."vs." the Patriots...I ******* HATE THIS PLAYING IN LONDON ****. They are gonna send us over there with great teams that will put asses in the seats like the Patriots, and the other ******* team will have more ******* fans, and at a ******* home game for us. THAT ******* PISSES ME OFF!

Least Confident Loss...@ Seattle...Its in Seattle in week 17 tho. IDK what the Seahawks mind set will be. Is Matt Flynn a starter in this league or was he a couple game wonder against bad defenses? Or will it be suck for Barkley (it doesn't work as well) time for Carroll and Seattle? So I am not sure...

8-8, based this mostly on Hasselbeck playing.

Splitting with every team in the division sounds fair, even though I hope we can sweep Jax and Indy (personnel wise I think we should sweep both).
Between San Diego, Chicago, and Miami I hope we can go 2-1. I think 9-7 this year.
