would MUCH rather have Mcdonald or Teo over Reid for the steelers.

Chase Thomas would be my pick in the second there

This is a really good bucs draft. Te'O is an awesome pick. Last piece to the LB corp. I would like Micah Hyde over Johnny Adams in the 2nd. Hyde really fits the bucs defense.

Sucks where the Steelers are picking, but love the picks.

Meh that's a solid KC mock I suppose. Nice job.

No way the Saints draft at 7 now that we just signed Brees.

Anything can happen.

And no Defence

Anything can, but rarely if ever does. As for our D, if you are referring to our DE situation, we have great depth there to make up for what we lose in Smith for 4 games. As for our LB's we signed Curtis Lofton, david Hawthorne and Chris Chamberlain, so we are as good there as we have been. Losing Porter was not good, but we have plenty of young/rookie depth at that position to nurture into his replacement.
We still make the play-offs.

Also, Joe Vitt will be coaching and have one of the hardest schedules in the nfl. Tampa and Carolina have also made alot of inprovement this off season. I think they will win six games this year.

Yeah, because the Saints are all gonna forget how to play football without Sean Payton, right.

If coaches aren't important, than why have the 49ers been bad for the last few years, then when they signed Harbaugh, with the same weapons on offence they win the division?

CJSchneider

I didn't say coaches aren't important. It isn't like the NO schemes or conceptualizations are changing either.

I just feel with the stronger schedule, the suspensions, lack of new talent, and the division getting stronger, I feel like the saints won't be that strong this year.

CJSchneider
07-14-2012, 01:29 AM
We don't have big name new talent, but look at the % of rookies on our roster and then filter that past our ability to find diamonds in the rough. Tough division and schedule to be sure, and perhaps for me to say that going to the play-offs as a forgone conclusion is but slightly homerish. The suspensions will hurt us less than people think they will save Payton, but with Brees under center, the O will run smoothly.

I also made this before Brees was resigned

I see it highly likely we draft an OT first round next year.

I just don't think you can make it, but 18th isn't that bad.

I would be happy with that. Though I am wary of Lattimore and his knee and if Spurrier runs him into the ground.

I don't think the Bengals would take Lattimore with the knee issues. They already took that risk with Kenny Irons and they missed.

I love Barrett Jones in Giants uniform, but not at Guard. We would use him as a C or OT, we are set at Guard with Snee, Petrus and Boothe. Also, we have 0 need for CB with Webster, Thomas, Amukamara, Hosley, and whoever we keep out of Tryon, Bing, and Johnson. Give us a DL round 2

I would be shocked to be honest, not a real need nor does the staff value the exterior line as much as they do the interior line

With how little room we will have next year, it will be hard to resign Bushrod.

that would just mean they´d nab another veteran or something, saints dont draft to start and dont value the OT position very much schemewise. Also the season will learn the exact position but there will be defensive needs

I assure you, for as much as we just invested in Brees, we will value the OT. Brown was drafted in the 2nd round two years ago. Granted he didn't start initially, but if the right guy was there, I see it being a plausible reality.

Edit: I agree with you on the defensive needs statement, but do you us keeping Ellis?

Bills have no need for a OT in round 2. Glenn, Hariston, Sanders and Pears is a nice group of OTs.

Shhhhh.

K Train would be ecstatic to have Reid and Reddick in the first two rounds. Pay no attention to his obvious confusion. He has a drinking problem.
