Productive player on a bad team in a tough conference. All I've seen is youtube clips, but they intrigue me enough to want the opinion of those who've seen Vanderbilt play over the last few years. He looks like he has good balance and vision, makes decisive cuts and accelerates through tight spaces, and has the ability to make people miss while also being able to shed tackles. What's not to like? We've seen a few relatively unheralded SEC running backs from the conference's lesser teams having some success in the NFL lately and I wonder if Stacy's also a guy who's eventually going to gain some attention.

Watched him closely in two games this year so far and I've come away impressed. Like his burst, runs low and can make sharp cuts. Could be a Mike Shanahan style late rounder who is productive at the next level - but I think is deserving of mention in the mid rounds.

For some reason Vanderbilt was on TV in my area quite a few times last year so I got to see Stacy and the Commodores and I came away impressed. Tough runner with some want to and vision. Not sure how fast he is. Vandy has a tall receiver, Matthews I think is his name, looks like a future mid-round selection as well.

Very shifty but he looks like a 4.6-4.7 guy.

I don't care about this dude's 40 numbers. His running is all about change of direction, vision and decisiveness. He gets an A for all three in my book. A really gifted and routinely underrated runner. He should be a 2-3 rounder based on sheer running ability but size and pedigree will bump him to 4-5, at best. My guess is he slips even further and is one of those late draft day gems.

this kid is going to have a very long NFL career. if i needed a running back i'd steal him in the 4th or 5th and laugh to the bank. dude is really really good. they don't have an o line or a passing game and SEC teams still cant' contain him. very shifty, knows how to be a running back. reminds me a lot of the rookie at seattle

Frank Gore, he reminds me so much of him. Built low to the ground(but bigger calves) good catching out ot the backfield, can pass block very well, great team leader, but in a quiet type of way. I love Stacy, and i hope he breaks the all time rushing yards and td record for us. He'll probably go in the 4th round, after running 4.55ish, but at 5'9, 220lbs, he'll be more than fine with that. I feel confidant in him doing well in the NFL as a complement back.

Good comparison.
