I'll buy into that.

Oregon against Stanford and USC is going to be an interesting comparison to how Notre Dame does against those two. My guess is no comparison.

Oregon is going to just kill Stanford. Our defense is getting better, but our offense has completely fallen off. The only chance Stanford has is to control the ball on long drives, and we can't do that at all.

Not really because of how vastly different they are on offense.

David Shaw announced that Stanford backup QB Hogan will get 15-20 snaps this week vs Colorado. Nunez isn't a good qb and Hogan will give us some more qb running ability. Nunez has the arm talent but just isn't that good.

F'n temple with their MAC players and coaches.

The MAC is no worse than .500 against the Big East this year. Not quite the same, but still nice.

Dysert had a pretty tough first half. Buffalo's defense has been making it tough. He's bounced off some hits and got a nice throw off when he was about to get licked. Made some questionable decisions while rolling out. Definitely looked better on the last scoring drive, but it's not been an easy afternoon. He's not working with a whole lot.

It's nice to see how our offense can actually be competent when Branden Oliver is playing. He's a beautiful man.

How come is it every time Florida goes deep they get a holding call?I mean it seems like it every PA action pass that goes for a TD gets called back.Hammond was so wide open it wasn't even funny. Yes I think you are right he needs stay all of his years in college and I hope does it probably depends on how much Florida is winning for him to stay or go. But he should be able to keep the starting job in he leaves for the NFL. So it is hard to say on how his development goes until then but it looks good so far in early career.

At this stage in his developement, and also situation, he's pretty much Jake Locker 2.0. Big arm, great speed for the position and prone to making a bone head play on occasion. Tremendous upside but raw.

I say their situations are similar because like Jake's, the offensive line at UF is atrocius. Also their receivers are mediocre, and that could be partly inexperience, leaving defenses to come at the QB from all differant directions. Florida was very fortunate to win that game today.

... That's called an opinion. All the polls disagree. When voters look at a team and say who they would rather have:

A) A team that has a back-loaded schedule that is blowing out every team they face including #17 USC currently 34-17.

or

B) A team that had a front-loaded schedule with indecisive wins against unranked teams but a signature win versus #12 Oklahoma.

Polls will absolutely favor Oregon and the computers will catch up in the next few weeks.

Conference championship week should be especially helpful for Oregon considering they'll be playing someone while ND hopes to beat a bye week in regulation. :njx:

I'm not ruling out the possibility that USC could go into that ND game unranked. They can lose here, and Arizona State (who broke Barkley down last year, after a 34-33 win the year before) and rival UCLA in Pasadena aren't easy games either. A 1-2 stretch with these 3 teams, and they're playing ND unranked. That in itself might ruin ND's SOS.

One convincing Oregon win this week, and they're probably leaping past ND tomorrow. The Irish's best shot at an NC would have to involve an upset by one of those top 3 teams.

A fitting/fiery end to the BCS would be if all 4 teams win out, and we get an Alabama-Kansas State National Championship.

Network Execs would be angry that neither ND nor the exciting Ducks made it,

Fans would be upset because the Rose Bowl deal would keep an ND-Ore bowl from happening, and we get stuck with Oklahoma-ND II in the Fiesta and...Oregon vs Nebraska for the Rose.

Probably won't happen, but plausible.

Notre Dame is basically playing a big 10 schedule...which as of right now is a damn joke (considering they wont play OSU who is the only team worth talking about), they skated by purdue and pitt. Oregon has manhandled everyone they have played without any competition. Outside of Stanford (Who Oregon will route, and OU) ND hasnt played a schedule worth a **** either.

Oregon could keep their starters in and win consistently by 70+ but they dont.

Oregon has played no one. Outside of two very good teams, Notre Dame has played no one.

Right now, Notre Dame has a more impressive résumé. That's all anyone has said. And you just said it.

Who has Oregon played? A decent Arizona State team and Fresno State?
