Huge game for the wildcard race. Detroit could be the 6th seed if they win and set up another huge game against the Packers. Must win for Detroit. 6 of their first 9 games on the road. 5-4 sets them up for a big home stand.

Chris Cook being out will help alot, especially Calvin. He only had 54 yards and the big PI called on him but a 100 yard 2 TD day would be nice for a change.

And Harvin's hurt ankle helps but he will probably play. The special teams has been shored up greatly since that game.

Lions didn't run the ball well last time and LeShoure fumbled and was stuffed on a big 3rd and 1. Hopefully more Reiff helps this out and Leshoure/Bell have a good second outing versus the Vikings.

Lions 24 Vikings 17

If they win this game, the playoffs are a strong possibility, if they lose it, it will be a very tough time making it, so yes, it is a must win and I strongly believe, they are just reaching their stride.

Just a note for everybodies nerves. Detroit for the half way point, has played the toughest SOS in the NFL. The teams they have played have a .600 winning % and we played a lot on the road.

6 of first 9 on the road for Detroit. We get 5 out of 7 at home to finish the season.

And it took special teams and 3 fumbles against the Bears to keep us from 7-1. Hope the Lions bring it in the second half. It's going to be a great season to watch.
