5 catches for 56 yards. Even when he doesn't do anything whatsoever, he still catches 5 balls for 56 yards! Over 16 games, that would project to 80 catches in a season! Amazing! Excellent! What a stud! Where would Brady be without Welker's greatness? He only threw for 400 some odd yards tonight with Welker contributing just 5 for 56.

Does anyone here think Michael Crabtree can hold Wes Welker's jock? I don't. Clearly, Crabtree is not in the class of the great Wes Welker. The only one in the class of the great Wes Welker is Reggie Wayne. Maybe that TERRY Holt guy. Maybe Jerry Rice. That's it. Those are the only guys.
