At this point its not much of a discussion, It is obvious and has been obvious for a while that Russell grades much higher than Quinn.

Russell is more accurate, has a stronger arm while Quinn MAY have a very slight edge in reading defenses, they both can avoid the rush and both have the same weakness of anticipating routes.

I am squarly on the Russell bandwagon and, while I can see the Quinn bandwagon, I'm more of an observer than a rider. I think they will both be good, but Russell feels more like a playmaker to me.

You obviously have a valid arguement since CJ is considered the BPA in the draft, but how do you propose OAK fix their QB position?

I like mobile QB's who can throw on the run so I'll take Russell. He has a good arm and descent accuracy I'm not sold on Quinn.

trade moss for a 3rd, sign carr or trade for green, draft a qb in the 3rd, get CJ in the 1st.

have a vet qb, a rookie and walter who still needs another chance. plus CJ,Curry and Porter

Russell but I'm so freakin' scared of him busting out....he makes throws like no other, but I'm still scared of the adjustment to the NFL.

I'd feel much safer taking Quinn at 4 than taking Russell at 1. You just know Quinn will be at least an avg starting QB in the league, and I have no idea how Jamarcus will turn out.

For me its JaMarcus Russell I honestly believe he will be an elite QB in a few years, I think he is way too good to pass on if we do well be sorry, Brady Quinn on the other hand we have seen so many Quinn type QBs come out every year, Im not saying Quinn wont be good Im just saying Russell is a very rare talent and I would hate to pass on him.

You and I have a difference of opinion on the value of Green or Carr to the Raiders. I believe them to be mediocre at best and a bad fit for your team. Carr especially seems like nothing more than an expensive Andrew Walter. I can see Moss getting on board with a real head coach and a real QB this year. Shore up the offensive and defensive lines a little bit and Oakland is a playoff contender.

I would prefer Russell, he's special. Size, arm, accuracy, leadership, come-back-ability, character. It's all there.
