God I would love Hopkins but I don't see any chance we take him.

I"m going

Blidi Wreh-Wilson
Markus Wheaton
Honey Badger

I will be so pissed if we pass up Trufant, Taylor, or Hayden for Blidi. Then getting Honey Badger afterwards would be awful.

So it'll probably happen unless there is a better special teamer available.

Here is my best shot:

1. Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB, UConn
2. Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia
3. John Simon, DE, Ohio State

I don't understand why drafting the Badger in the third would be awful, if anything I think thatd be amazing if he lasted that long.

I like Honey Badger a lot, but if we get Blidi our CB depth chart is already pretty full. Talib-Dennard-Arrington-Blidi-Dowling-Honey Badger is a bit much.

I doubt we take the honey badger. we already paid a significant amount of money to a nickel corner (Kyle Arrington) to play primarily in the slot. I can't see it happening

Ok here's my forecast:

1. Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
2. Markus Wheaton, WR, Oregon State
3. Sanders Commings, DB, Georgia

Here it goes:

1) Robert Woods
2) Logan Ryan
3) Brian Schwenke

Woods is a guy who is capable of playing a spot that we desperately need to fill. He's not particularly exciting, but I don't think we're going to mess around too much here and get what we need while we can get it.

Logan Ryan is that DB who we always seem to draft a bit too high. He's a lot like Dennard, and I could see him playing outside or the nickel role here.

Brian Schwenke is preparation for Ryan Wendell's impending free agency next year, and Connolly's possible release next year as well. He's a very athletic center who has shown the ability move bigger NT's. He has technique issues, and occasionally struggles to anchor, but I doubt those scare Dante.

6 Dbs in rd 1 or 2 in past six years. We should have an elite secondary.
I'll refrain from ranting but #*@$ you better be wrong on Ryan lol

So between us all we got one pick, and it wasn't even the right round. Yeah, pretty sure Belichick is the toughest guy to predict in the NFL

Here's a different (http://sonsofsamhorn.net/topic/77339-patriots-select-s-duron-harmon-at-91/) forum with an interesting discussion on BB and his drafting process. No histrionics or hyperbole (which I'm certainly guilty of.) I'm not sure why this makes me so pissed*. It shouldn't. As the cliche goes, it is what it is.

*As I mentioned in a previous post, I think my issues might stem from seeing a very similar process play out with Reeves and Elway (Elway carried that Bronco team for many, many years, but until Shanny took over only had SB blow out losses to show for it.)
