Yes, sorry. If a player isn't on the resignings, he elected to test Free Agency.

:o Didn't realize resigning my own guys depended on them being resigned in the simulation ... :/

So as it stands I have to compete with everyone else to resign any of my expiring guys.

it's done by a formula I think.. there are ratings for each player of loyalty, greed, play for winner that determine whether or not they re-sign

If I realized that I wouldn't be able to tempt a FA back I would have dealt them before the deadline rather than losing them for nothing. I figured it was system of "The FA wants X dollars over X years" and then I decide whether I want to pay their demands.

Mainly shocked with Finley. He had reasonably high loyalty and "winner" numbers with very low greed. Granted I may be misunderstanding the ratings :)

Loyalty: 54
Greed: 11
Play For Winner: 63

System works for me as is I was just a little disappointed with the results I guess.

The systems out of 100, but its never a good bet for them to actually stay on the team. Ive seen 100 loyalty and play for a winner still test free agency. I thought you knew this since you kept trading away people.

Wait, stop that right now. I did not want Khalid El-Amin to re-sign period, let alone for that absolutely absurd total. Oh nevermind, I see the rules. I'll edit in a second.

Heh :) I dealt away guys I didn't see as having future value. No worries I know it moving forward and I still have a shot at my guys if I like the value in the open FA.

This is a future based question for Zach. Are we able to do sign and trades? And if so would this be the time (and contract) that you would utilize? I imagine in open FA it would be crazy complicated so this seems like a nature place for S&Ts to occur.

Yes it would be. Right now these players are on youre roster, so if you wanted to trade one you could. As long as another team has the cap to take them on or players to trade.

Put the image in a new tab by itself, and zoom in. Its the best I can do.
