What makes Tyler the better NT prospect?

I ask because I didn't pay much attention to them during the year, but a lot of what I hear says that Harrell is just as capable of putting on some weight, and he has put up some pretty respectable lifting numbers.

Does Harrell's strength not show on the field?

Injury concerns, I would guess. I sure hope we come away with a NT early in this draft.

I would be ok with Harrell, though.

How about Marcus Thomas from FL?

Character concerns. See Randy Galloway's column from about 2 weeks ago on how the Cowboys have recently avoided players with major character concerns.

Um... Harrell is in no way a 3-4 NT. I made a mock of us drafting him as a DE, but he's in no way shape or form a 3-4 NT. Tank is. It's that simple.

...and I am asking why, because I never really watched them play.

Oh, OK. Well, Harrell's strength does not translate to field well. He's also not very stout at the point.
