I'm doing a mock draft. Do you think the Bears would trade LB Lance Briggs stright up for #16? I had the Redskins trade down with the Packers so the Skins now have #16. I hade the Bears make the Trade then pick LB Paul Polzolney.
What do you think?

i think that they would not. if JA will not take the no 6 for briggs and our first then i doubt he settles for 16

He didn't want to give up 31 and Briggs for six because he didn't think no. 6 was a good spot to draft. 16 is much better, and Briggs straight up for 16 is much better.
I think JA would do Briggs for 16 overall in a heartbeat. As for the pick, I think it would might actually be Joe Staley, or Jon Beason.

smokey's got it right. we'd not get our value for a number six. they'd get shafted in some way and defeat the point of trading period.

players in the top 10 cost too much just look how long Benson held out.. The bears are one if not the most cheapest team in the league.

I would have to say next to New England they're easily the cheapest in the league.
If Chicago received a mid 1st rounder I'd hope they'd take a look at
OLB's
Patrick Willis
Jon Beason
Lawrence Timmons
Paul Posluszny
WR's
Robert Meachem
Dwayne Bowe
Dwayne Jarrett
or
DB's
Reggie Nelson
Leon Hall
Darrelle Revis
