Hey now, Master P was a pretty good player in his day. No, seriously. He was.

Romeo is actually an ok player. You wouldn't say that if he was a well known entertainer

I thought he would be a year or two off from graduating high school.

For what it's worth, he's a 2 star recruit according to Rivals.

I actually like Master P and I don't really see any problem with this. Romeo can obviously play.

He is a 1 star recruit on scout.com. It seems like this is more of a publicity stunt because USC could've gotten much better players than him.

He was invited to the ABCD Camp and apparently he did well there. USC isn't exactly a basketball powerhouse either. I wouldn't say this is a publicity stunt at all.

Master P almost made the Raptors out of training camp. That's not saying much because we sucked back then, but it was one of his goals to be a pro baller.

I actually saw him play a game in high school when he was down in San Diego for a b-ball tournament. He's not bad but what is he like 5-7?

Just to be in that situation speaks to how good you are at basketball.

He's 6 feet tall. That's plenty big enough for a collegiate point guard.

Exactly, everybody always looks for the negatives in everything. I hope Lil Romeo does good, i'll be cheering for him.

Wow he must have had a growth spurt. Anyways, He's a pretty good player and this doesn't really suprise me.

What a talented gene pool they have. Master P is a famous rapper, business man, and a near-NBA level basketball player. That's an impressive resume.

yeah, USC just gets the OJ MAYO who some believe is the number 1 overall recruit in the nation. plus, they have to be doing something right to have a 4 or 5 seed in the NCAA tournament

That makes him what? 6 inches taller than TaJuan Porter and 1 inch taller than Aaron Brooks? Those guys can definitely ball with the best of 'em.

I thought Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley were the top 2 recruits. Mayo has dropped a bit in the last while.

i'm an eric gordon fan personally, but some still like mayo.

It's tough to say who the top recruit is right now. Mayo used to be way ahead of everybody in his class but his development has really leveled off. It should be interesting to see if he develops anymore at the college level.

Rose is the top prospect in a lot of people's eyes. I think Beasley has some pretty serious attitude concerns that need to be addressed. His dedication to the game should be pretty clear after one year in college.

He's being sarcastic. He's surprised that the editor called Bow Wow "one of the top rappers in the country".

His dad was almost an NBA player so obviously he has some genes. I'd bet that he didn't get anymore training than most of the children of former players did.

Well, good for him. It will be interesting to see how he does. Certainly will be quite a show at USC this year with him and Mayo on campus.
