Trades-Ari 5,38 to Det for 2;
Atl 8, 07 and 08 3rds to Was for 6;
GB 16 and 07 2nd to Mia for 9;
NE 24, 28 to SF for 11, 07 3rd;
GB 07 2nd and 3rd, 08 3rd to Dal for 22

1 Oakland Raiders JaMarcus Russell QB LSU 6-6 255
NFL COMPARISON(NC): Daunte Culpepper
Will give Raiders fans hope and has the potential to be the Calvin Johnson of quarterbacks. Has the potential to be much better than his comparison.

2 Arizona Cardinals Joe Thomas T Wisconsin 6-7 310
NC: Matt Light
Needs to improve strength to make this traded pick worthwhile. Will improve the as his knee continues to heel. Gives the Cards potential to build a line.

3 Cleveland Browns Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame 6-4 225
NC: Drew Brees
Has the ability to lead a team and has pro bowl potential. Could bring Cleveland's talent together, like Brees did in NO.

4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech 6-5 235
NC: Terrell Owens
Has the ability to take over a game and lacks the attitude of Owens. Gives Gruden an amazing piece of the puzzle.

5 Detroit Lions Patrick Willis MLB Mississippi 6-1 235
NC: Ray Lewis
Has speed, instincts, and leadership. Is an absolute amazing tackler. Fills a major hole for the lions and makes their defense much improved.

6 Atlanta Falcons Laron Landry SS LSU 6-2 205
NC: Brian Dawkins
Flies up on running plays and is a playmaker in coverage. A player I think the falcons are targeting.

7 Minnesota Vikings Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas 6-5 278
NC: Mike Rucker
Has better agility than Rucker, but has a similar build and style. High risk and high reward for the Vikings

8 Washington Redskins Amobi Okoye DT Louisville 6-2 312
NC: La'Roi Glover Incredible quickness both hands and feet, lives in the backfield, and immediately upgrades the Skins defense.

9 Green Bay Packers Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma 6-0 220
NC: Larry Johnson
Has explosiveness and breaks tackles gives Green Bay a constant threat.

10 Houston Texans Gaines Adams DE Clemson 6-5 260
NC: Jason Taylor
The steal of the draft. Makes pass-rushing an art. Will make the Texans a complete, rock solid defense.

11 New England Patriots Leon Hall CB Michigan 5-11 195
NC: Ronde Barber
If Samuel leaves NE desparately needs a replacement, and Hall is a quiet, unassuming Belicheck player.

12 Buffalo Bills Alan Branch DT Michigan 6-5 330
NC: Dan Wilkinson
Big man who can move, give the Bills a NT type who will let their small, fast linebackers make plays

13 St. Louis Rams Dwayne Bowe WR LSU 6-2 220
NC: Anquan Boldin
They need a big reciever who can take over in the red zone. No defender merits/fits this selction.

14 Carolina Panthers Reggie Nelson FS Florida 6-0 195
NC: Ed Reed
Punishing hitter and wideout like hands, sounds about right. Carolina gets a defensive leader.

15 Pittsburgh Steelers Adam Carriker DE Nebraska 6-6 290
NC: Justin Smith
Athletic for his size, good quickness and could thrive in a 34 or 43 as a UT.

16 Miami Dolphins Levi Brown T Penn State 6-5 325
NC: Marvel Smith
Could be a tremendous blocker. Needs to work on technique. strong at the point and could play LT or RT.

17 Jacksonville Jaguars Ted Ginn WR Ohio State 5-11 185
NC: Santana Moss
Will never catch 100 balls but could have some 1000 yard seasons and will be a threat in the return game, a smaller quick reciever to open things up for Jones and Williams.

18 Cincinnati Bengals Darrelle Revis CB Pittsburgh 5-11 190
NC: Justin Miller
Fast and athletic. will help the return game and has good hands and ball skills.

19 Tennessee Titans Robert Meachem WR Tennessee 6-2 210
NC: Jerry Porter
Explosive and has great potential. good RAC and accelerates quickly.

20 New York Giants Paul Poluszny OLB Penn State 6-2 230
NC: Kirk Morrison
Great instincts and a good tackler, makes plays and can play inside and out.

21 Denver Broncos Joe Staley T Central Michigan 6-6 300
NC: Jason Peters(Bills) Quick feet and very fast. Fits a zone blocking scheme very well. Fills an instant void and will start at LT in the future.

22 Green Bay Packers Marshawn Lynch RB California 5-10 223
NC: Kevin Jones
Speed is above average, Lynch is more well rounded than Jones was but both possess speed and the ability to break tackles.

23 Kansas City Chiefs David Harris MLB Michigan 6-2 240
NC: Jeremiah Trotter
Timed faster than expected and plays the run and screens very well. Needs to improve in coverage. Gives the Chiefs a run stopping force. Considered a reach by most at this point.

24 San Fransico 49ers Michael Griffen FS Texas 6-0 210
NC: Chris Hope
Great tackler for a safety, can make plays in coverage too. Improves the 49er's secondary even more.

25 New York Jets Lawrence Timmons OLB Florida State 6-3 230
NC: Julian Peterson
Raw and Explosive. Started only one year and could be molded into any type of a defender. could be the Jets Adalius Thomas.

26 Philadelphia Eagles Jarvis Moss DE Florida 6-5 255
NC: Andre Carter
Long and lean. explosive and could be a sack artist. the Eagles need some depth at DE.

27 New Orleans Saints Chris Houston CB Arkansas 5-10 180
NC: Dunta Robinson
Very fast and very physical. Can be put on an island and succeed. Should go higher but falls in this senario.

28 San Fransico 49ers Dwayne Jarrett WR Southern California 6-5 210
NC: Reggie Williams
A strong possesion reciever. would give Alex Smith a nice target outside and another weapon.

29 Baltimore Ravens Aaron Ross CB Texas 6-0 190
NC: Ken Lucas
Tall and physical can play in man schemes allowing the Ravens to use their aggressive blitzes.

30 San Diego Chargers Brandon Meriweather FS Miami 6-0 192
NC: Gibril Wilson
A very good playmaker and is a good cover safety. Fills a need that the Chargers can't get rid of.

31 Chicago Bears Greg Olsen TE Miami 6-5 255
NC: LJ Smith
Speedy but willing to block. Amazing hands probably second to Calvin Johnson in the draft. Could help spark the Bears offense.

32 Indianapolis Colts Jon Beason OLB Miami 6-0 230
NC: Lance Briggs
Fast and will tangle with anyone on the field. Fills a hole in the Colt's lineup and could move inside if needed.

You have Green bay picking 3 times, according to the trades they shouldn't have pick 16.

04-15-2007, 02:01 PM
Nice idea, Nice effort, and since alot of players are gone by the time the Eagles picked, decent in Jarvis Moss. + Rep

04-15-2007, 02:02 PM
I'm confused with GB's mock

04-15-2007, 02:03 PM
Not bad, he'd be great value there but I think the eagles go Hosuton there.

04-15-2007, 02:27 PM
terrible bills pick, we have more DT's than we know what to do with-especially after the spikes trade

04-15-2007, 02:37 PM
okay raider pick

04-15-2007, 02:45 PM
WTF? Why would the Packers take 2 first round backs?

04-15-2007, 02:49 PM
are the packers gonna share the running backs with the other teams here? i like the denver pick but i could see us picking up lynch here, he fits the ZBS well

04-15-2007, 02:51 PM
12 Buffalo Bills Alan Branch DT Michigan 6-5 330
NC: Dan Wilkinson
Big man who can move, give the Bills a NT type who will let their small, fast linebackers make plays

EH, don't fit on the Tampa 2 and we drafted 2 last year paid alot in FA for 1 last year and traded for 1 this year we don't need at DT

04-15-2007, 02:58 PM
ok giants pick but i would rather have lawrence timmons or chris houston there

04-15-2007, 02:58 PM
I'd rather take Lynch. Ngata didn't fit our scheme, and we passed on him. Branch doesn't fit our scheme, and we will pass on him.

04-15-2007, 03:02 PM
I know AP is injury prone, but does Green Bay really need 2 RBs?

04-15-2007, 03:12 PM
Good pick for the Saints

04-15-2007, 03:51 PM
EDIT: Wait, i don't understand.

04-15-2007, 04:19 PM
WTF????We signed Napoleon Harris for 6 years no way we take Harris in the 1st.Jarrett, Ross or Jarvis Moss over Harris

04-15-2007, 04:48 PM
The Bills have 5 DT's on their roster right now. They won't be drafting one.

04-15-2007, 10:22 PM
i think we'd consider branch if he was at #12, he's one of the pieces we are missing, we don't have a true NT on the roster.

04-15-2007, 10:34 PM
I guess with your explanation, I'll say its an alright pick for the Rams. Our offense would be scary. Our defense would be woeful.

04-15-2007, 10:55 PM
Good Bucs pick

04-15-2007, 10:57 PM
Great redskins pick and solid trade. If we get Okoye and if he turned out to be half the player Glover was i would be ecstatic.

04-15-2007, 11:00 PM
Arizona won't give up a 2nd to move up 3 spots. If Thomas is gone at 5 they either take Adams or move down 3 to 5 spots, if possible, and take Brown.

04-15-2007, 11:27 PM
Horrible Pats pick. If they trade up that far, it won't be for Hall. Maybe Willis.

04-16-2007, 12:18 AM
No complaints from my end
