I'd rather not take a safety in the 2nd but that wouldn't be too bad. Decent Packer's mock.

We take Meachem in R1 and Josh Wilson in R2.

4. Detroit Lions (f.Tampa) - LaRon Landry

Is Landry so good that he would be the earliest drafted safety in almost 20 years? And do the Lions need a safety so bad that that they woud take one this early?

14. Carolina Panthers - Jon Beason

Kind of early for Beason, isn't it?

15. Pittsubrg Steelers - Lawrence Timmons

Aren't the Steelers going to stay with the 3-4? If so, Timmons is a poor fit.

25. New York Jets - Greg Olsen
59. New York Jets - Anthony Gonzalez
63. New York Jets - Daymeion Hughes

As a Jets fan, this draft would sadden me greatly. The passing game is what kept the offense afloat last year. So why do the Jets need use their first two picks to add a TE and a slot receiver? On top of that, Daymeion Hughes is quite possibly the last person I want the Jets to draft. I think he could be a surprise undrafted a la Brandon Browner.

32. Indianapolis Colts - Paul Posluszny

As a replacement for Cato June, Paul Posluszny is not an especially good replacement. Sure he's an OLB and the Colts need one, but Posluszny can't replace June's atheticism or coverage ability.

33. Oakland Raiders - Ryan Kalil

So much for Jake Grove.

48. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jason Hill

Another wide receiver draft pick for the Jaguars?

Panthers pretty much have to come out of the 1st two rounds with a safety. If you think I'm exaggerating that, look at their roster and tell me who on the roster would be your choice to start next to Minter.

I would be pretty happy with Mike Griffin and Darrelle Revis for the Pats.

I really do believe if Quinn is gone, Ginn is the pick at 9. Pretty decent draft nonetheless.

What did the Bucs give up to move to #2 because they still have both 2nds?

DaBears9654

I wouldn't mind those Bears picks. We could use some better depth in the back of the secondary.

Hall's a good pick, a good value, decent fit. However, Stewart Bradley's a poor fit and is a little too slow to be a Bengals LB. Marvin Lewis would rather sacrifice size for speed. Jon Beason and Justin Durant are two good fits.

The most original Lions draft I've seen so far, I suppose.
We'd probably take Adams over Landry because DE is a bigger need than S.
I don't think that QB is that big of a need for the Lions, I'd like to think that we'd take Marcus McCauley in the second.

Yeah, im not too sure about the Landry pick to Detroit. I think they go Gaines or a tradedown to pick up Willis, but original none the less.

The Saints JUMP on Revis in round 1. He is the only corner I feel comfotable about drafting in round 1.

Round 2 give us Gozales here.

good 49ers draft, i would prefer jason hill over steve smith though

Freddy Keiaho will replace June at WLB, so Posluszny would play SSLB for us, where he should more than fine.

Anthony Spencer not being in the first two rounds is a stunner. I'm also wondering how Tampa trades up to number 2 without giving up any picks in round 2.

Solid trade for the Lions but no way on Edwards in round 2 and what do we get for our first rounder from TB?
