Will Shaun White ever pull it off? It may be done in the future by someone besides White, but I think he has a chance.

He just tried it 19 times in the X Games best trick competition. Didn't pull it off but he came close.

no chance - the 9's hard enough

He came really close when time was expiring, his foot just slipped off...I think he'll land it someday.

Did he land a 9 at least? I know only two guys had landed one in competition prior to this year. (Hawk and Dias)

He;s looked like a top the way he points his board downward.

I didn't think he'd make it, the 900 is hard enough as it is.

possibly, I think that Danny Way will be trying 720 and 900 across the mega ramp very soon.

The 1080 will fall soon but that's skateboarding's limit as far as I'm concerned when it comes to spins. Now of course someone will try to pull off a 1260 on a mega-ramp but that's just not flirting, but having sex with disaster. Shaun White is the only one that's attempting to do that and he's one of the best vert guys out there. Only three people have attempted 9s if I recall, Hawk, Dias and I believe Tas Pappas tried back in 2000 or 2001. Jake Brown probably has as well.
