He has more INTs than TDs, he had the worst QB Rating in the League, he got to go to the Pro Bowl, he's on the Madden curse and yet he some how "one of the best QBs in the game." quote from some talking head on ESPN.

On Sunday November 26, 2006 Vince Young led his first NFL fourth-quarter comeback, against the New York Giants. With the Giants leading 21-0, the tide suddenly changed after New York quarterback Eli Manning threw an interception to Adam "Pacman" Jones. Young subsequently led a scoring drive, throwing a touchdown pass to ex-Longhorn teammate Bo Scaife. After the Titans forced a three-and-out, Young ran an option play for a touchdown on the next drive. Another successful stop led to Young throwing his second touchdown of the quarter. After another Eli Manning interception to Pacman Jones, this time with only 30 seconds left in the game, Young calmly led his team down the field for Rob Bironas' game-winning field goal; the final score was 24-21 over the Giants. It is statistically the best performance of Vince Young's NFL career: he went 24/35 for 249 yards and two touchdowns, with a 107.9 passer rating. He also rushed 10 times for 69 yards and a touchdown. This win was the largest fourth-quarter comeback in the Titans franchise history, the largest fourth-quarter comeback by a rookie quarterback, and the largest comeback with under ten minutes left in a game in NFL history.

He may not be the best now, but he is not overrated.

if kiwi doesnt quit on a sack, the titans lose. that easy. not saying he didnt have a good game, but he started 12 other ones. he finished with a QB rating in the 50s, 12 TDS/13 interceptions. hes ok, but everyone is ridin his pole like hes better than peyton.

it was his rookie season you can't expect greatness from him in one season, hes still learning, hes an athlete and he will be a great qb.

If anybody I think it will be Vince Young because I don't think any intelligent fan has huge expectations for him and the Titans. They'll definitely be competitive but let's not confuse he or his team as the class of AFC. I think he can break it because it's kind of a surprise choice anyway.

he made a probowl OVER Tom Brady. are you kidding me. some people are calling him great, when he is no more than an adequate starter who jumped in at the right time. Im not denying that he could be great, but i am stating my anger on how people are reacting to this guy.

I'm pretty sure Brady declined as he didn't get voted in so he didn't want to be on of thos eguys who makes it because of an injury.

And whoever said how is VY overrated should watch a Titans game and pay attention to every pass. Or look at his passing stats.

It was a good/solid year for Ray but I still contend it breaks the so-called "curse". As for Vince, his style of play is always a risk of injury so now if he does get hurt there's an excuse.

i watched every game, and he never wowed me. except in the game vs the texans where he won it in OT. that was pretty cool.

No doubt he was a good player and the sky seems to be the limit on his potential, but too many people throw around the term "great". I mean it was 1 year of mediocre stats, although highlight reel caliber mediocre stats, and now he's the next big thing. The same can be said for Colston, Bush, and others from last years draft class but what will they do this year and the next? 2 years ago people were calling Cadillac Williams great after his rookie season but he had a subpar sophomore campaign and now there's debate on whether or not the Bucs will select Adrian Peterson so I guess he had a "great" year and is not a "great" player. Not to mention all the reports about Young's Wonderlic score and the buzz questioning his intelligence, how soon that is forgotten and now he's "great" much like he was in college in winning the National Championship. Let the kid play a few years before we judge him on "great" scale.

well vince young i think will. he is such a stupid move for pputting him in there. but look at his numbers last year. it was olny his rookie year, its easier to compare to olny one year of stats. he had 12 tds and 13 ints. if he throws 15 tds ppl will say he broke it. the olny thing that can **** up with all of this is if the titans do bad as a team.

I think John Madden has to actually break the curse. He is so amazingly sedentary, that he cannot possible injure himself. He rides in a giant motorhome to all his games (professional driver). Other than that, I can't see him walking, let alone doing anything of value. Bringing things full circle by putting Madden on the cover is a good answer, I think.
