This mock draft is based entirely on who I would pick at these spots. Don't go around blabbering about how Bill Polian won't draft a player with character concerns or how the Lions love Gaines Adams. I know that stuff. I didn't consider it for a second when I made the mock.

1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB, L.S.U.
2. Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
3. Cleveland Browns - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
5. Arizona Cardinals - LaRon Landry, FS, L.S.U.
6. Washington Redskins - Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
7. Minnesota Vikings - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
8. Atlanta Falcons (f/HOU) - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
9. Miami Dolphins - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
10. Houston Texans (f/ATL) - Levi Brown, OT, Penn St.
11. San Francisco 49ers - Patrick Willis, ILB, Ole Miss
12. Buffalo Bills - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh
13. St. Louis Rams - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
14. Carolina Panthers - Paul Posluszny, OLB, Penn St.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
16. Green Bay Packers - Marshawn Lynch, RB, California
17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
18. Cincinnati Bengals - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
19. Tennessee Titans - Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
20. New York Giants - Jon Beason, OLB, Miami
21. Denver Broncos - Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan
22. Dallas Cowboys - Reggie Nelson, FS, Florida
23. Kansas City Chiefs - Dwayne Bowe, WR, L.S.U.
24. New England Patriots (f/SEA) - Michael Griffin, SS, Texas
25. New York Jets - Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
26. Philadelphia Eagles - Lawrence Timmons, OLB, Florida St.
27. New Orleans Saints - Justin Harrell, DT, Tennessee
28. New England Patriots - Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
29. Baltimore Ravens - Jarvis Moss, DE/OLB, Florida

ok so you would pick an athletic tackle over a versatile, playmaking, hard hitting safety?? dosent make sense to me.. usually i like joe staley to the broncos but not with nelson on the board

Left tackles are extremely hard to find in the draft. I think Nelson is probably better at his position than Staley, but Staley plays a much more valuable position - protecting Jay Cutler.

Good SF pick, considering Carriker is gone

so just a question you are saying that if you were the Detroit Lions, you would Pick Joe Thomas, cause we need another high priced LT?

I am not doubtin his ability, just the team need.

Not the worst eagles pick, but I'd prefer Ross or Meriweather.

Bears have enough possession receivers.
