View Full Version : Mock of the year

04-18-2007, 08:07 PM
1.Raiders-Calvin Johnson WR GT
Great playmaker who will save Andrew Walter's career and give the Raiders a offensive threat besides Randy Moss
2.Lions-Gaines Adams DE CLEMSON
Will trade and pick Patrick Willis but no trades in this mock so they take the playmaker who will make this one of the better defenses in the NFL
3.Browns-Adrian Peterson RB OK
Needs a playmaker and with Charlie Frye, a still devolping young QB that they can't give up on now, Adrian Peterson, Braylon Edwards, Joe Jereviciouse, and a underrated defense, this should be a great team.
4.Bucs-Brady Quinn QB NOTRE DAME
Has taken a look at Quinn And Russell because "Chances are we will take on of thoughs guys". Chucky has always wanted to draft a franchise QB and with CJ off the board he can take Quinn, who will be much better then Russell
5.Cardinals-Joe Thomas OT WISCONSIN
Easy Pick. O Line help to worst O Line in the league

6.Redskins-Alan Branch DT MICHIGAN
Maybe Landry here, but they need a big guy on the D Line who will stuff up holes with Gaines off the board.
7.Vikings-Laron Landry S LSU
Pretty bad secondary and will add a great playmaker and leader.
8.Falcons-Jamal Anderson DE ARKANSA
Kerney gone, Reggie Nelson not worth this pick, John Abraham Lonely.
9.Dolphins-Jamarcus Russell QB LSU
Most Likely will pull of Trent Green but that's a short term answer, get a steal here.
10.Texans-Levi Brown OT PENN STATE
Protect Shcuab and give Ahman Green a guy to run behind.
11.49ers-Adam Cariker DE NEBRASKA
Fits their shceme and takes Cariker over Willis because of the aging Bryan Young.
12.Bills-Patrick Willis ILB OLE' MISS
LB is a bigger need then RB for the Bills, losing Spikes AND Fletcher.
13.Rams-Amobi Okeye DT LOUISVILLE
Great run stopper for this bad run stopping team
14.Panthers-Reggie Nelson S FLORIDA
Need a S, no explanation required
15.Steelers-Lawrence Timmons OLB FSU
Porter Gone, and Moss looks to be a possibility.
16.Packers-Marshawn Lynch RB CAL
Ahman Green out, Marshawn Lynch in.
17.Jags-Michael Griffin S TEXAS
Darius is aging
18.Bengals-Darelle Revis CB PIT
Fits the Bengals better then Leon Hall
19.Titans-Leon Hall CB MICHIGAN
Robert Meachem may be the pick but Hall falling this far is to tempting with PacMan Jones out for the year.
20.Giants-Jon Beason OLB MIAMI
Maybe Chris Houston here but they go OLB with Arington and their other starting OLB cut.
21.Broncos-Jarvis Moss DE/OLB FLORIDA
Play maker with good Value, look for them to trade up for Willis with Wilson gone.
22.Cowboys-Robert Meachem WR TENNESSEE
Great pick for them with Meachem still available.
23.Cheifs-Dwayne Bowe WR LSU
Big guy with good hands and route running, will be good for them.
24.Pats-Chris Houston CB ARKANSA
Could Go Meriwether but looks to get a CB with Samuel situation not looking good for them.
25.Jets-Greg Olsen TE MIAMI
Gives Pennington a passing threat and a willing blocker for Thomas Jones.
26.Eagles-Aaron Ross CB TEXAS
Will help out in Nickel and eventually be a starter, the Eagles may trade up so they don't have to settle for a CB, Reid Won't touch Brandon Meriwether with the character issues he has.
27.Saints-Ted Gin Jr. WR OHIO STATE
They get the Reggie Bush of WR's in this incredibly fast play maker.
28.Pats-Brandon Meriwether S MIAMI
They are happy Eagles don't take him and they get this guy to take over for Rodney Harrison.
29.Ravens-Joe Staley
30.Chargers-Dwayne Jarret
31.Bears-Ben Grubbs
32.Colts-Buster Davis

04-18-2007, 08:21 PM
GREAT raider pick, but moss isnt a weapon for this offence hes a cancer

04-18-2007, 08:30 PM
Great Cardinals pick.

04-18-2007, 08:33 PM
Adrian peterson will be number 1 or 2 no matter what

OAK has two RB's and when Kevin Jones is healthy hes a beast

04-18-2007, 08:47 PM
awsome SF pick

04-18-2007, 09:34 PM
good mock, but davis is most defienelty a reach anywhere in the first

I didn't listen to anyones favored player to draft, i just made a mock purley of what i think is going to happen, and the reason Colts go Buster Davis is to get a good LB since there arn't many left, i'm a FSU fan and so i overate him, i guess Harell would be a better pick?

Just stop making mocks please. Thank you!

04-19-2007, 01:53 AM
good vikings pick, Bad Reasoning

04-19-2007, 05:34 AM
Quinn is a big no no. If the Buccaneers take him I will personally fly to One Buc Place and kick Bruce Allen in the genitals.

04-19-2007, 06:31 AM
I don't know why you have your heart set on us taking Ross. I would much rather take an LB in this situation, as I consider ti a bigger need. Poz would make more sense to me. I know you are allowed to have your own opinion, and I am just stating mine.

04-19-2007, 07:21 AM
Alan Branch is an okay pick, I prefer Jamaal Anderson or Amobi Okoye in that situation

04-19-2007, 02:20 PM
Okay eagles pick

04-19-2007, 05:36 PM
Staley or Jarrett for KC

04-19-2007, 06:12 PM
Of all the day 1 QBs, (Russell, Quinn, Edwards, Stanton) Russell is the one Miami has the least amount of interest in and the closest person to Culpepper who our coach reportedly does not like. I seriously doubt if that pick happens.

They are more likely to trade down with a team that wants to get Russell then they are to take him themselves. I wouldnt mind a team like the Ravens if they fell in love with Russell to trade us their 1st, 2nd and a 1st next year and we move all the way to 29 and get Staley.

good ravens pic

I might actually cry if we take Ted Ginn.
