This maybe a downer, especially on this forum, but I thoughts it was worth a look at. Pictures and story of a relationship between a mother and her son, as he fights cancer. Look through all the pics and read the captions below, unbelievable insight into the emotions.

Why would this possibly be locked? You're really missing the point here.

What is the point here? Ruin our day? To realize life is precious? I think most people realize life is precious, even if pointless, and no one still seems to care.

My grandmother also died from cancer, and both of my aunt's currently have it.

Why is it that the people who think that a thread is completely worthless are always the ones who post in them the most??? If you don't like the thread then there are 100's of other's on the forum in which to waste your time.

I haven't read the story so I don't have an opinion either way on it, just an observation.

Because I want to argue with them and know what makes them emo. I believe it the need to fit in.

I don't understand how caring about the family of a child with cancer can make someone emo but I guess I just don't get what "emo" is

that is sad, it makes me realize how lucky I am, just the other day I as ticked that a thing in the forum mock didnt go my way, this kid and thousands of others were fighting for their life and I am here on a computer being mad about a fantasy draft. This made me realize how lucky I really am.

You shouldn't need some sad story to make you realize how utterly pathetic it is that you were "ticked" over a stupid forum mock.

I thank whoever posted this article . It really puts things in perspective. Worrying about all the little b#llsh#t things having petty differences with the ones we love and who love us just isn't worth it . Lost my mom to cancer after a long battle so this brought back a flood of memories. Like my Dad says live each day like it is your last cause one day you will be right .
