Still looking for something interesting around my birthday in may. I know i'm going to Muse, The New Pornographers and Dirty Pretty Things. Wanted to see Rise Against but sold out unfortunately. Good Charlotte are like the only band not yet sold out at the Astoria around the time I want and they play on my birthday, I dont really like them but the girlfriend does so might do that...

i saw morrissey at the aragon in chicago in october.
amazing. and he played everything good. it was the best money i never spent. when your date picks up the tickets and doesn't tell you. you know it's going to be fantastic.

i'm seeing art brut in like 30 minutes.
lifetime on sunday.

girl talk is amazing. i saw him a few months ago.

best part of living in chicago? not only do we have pitchfork, we have pitchfork AND lolla. although i'm the only person whos disappointed that pearl jam is headlining. never liked them. but muse, iggy and the stooges, tv on the radio, lupe fiasco, regina spektor, daft punk, CSS, M.I.A.... just for a few. ah, the love.

I might be checking out Country USA this summer. It has a pretty good line up with Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry, Josh Turner, Alan Jackson, and more. By the looks of this board, there aren't a lot of country fans out there though...

I went a couple of years ago when it was at Hershey Park to see Story Of The Year, and Avenged Sevenfold when they were still touring on Waking The Fallen, and they were awesome. Some of the bands surprised me like Taking Back Sunday, and Matchbook Romance were really good live. Overall Warped is ok but they always seem to have some really terrible bands on the tour like Yellowcard, or New Found Glory which ruins about and hour and a half of the day.

My last concert was Danzig, so it's quite a contrast.

They have, and its a shame because both of their albums are great, so hopefully they dont comeback with a bad 3rd album.

Story of the Year will return to the studio sometime in 2007 to record their third full-length studio album, which is expected to be released around summer/fall of the same year. Currently, there are no other details regarding the album. [5] The band said that they will continue writing the album before returning to the studio as well. However, it is unclear which producer will record it.

From Wikipedia, so make of it what you will.

The Flaming Lips

They're supposed to be incredible live. I want to see them next time they're here.

I went a couple of years ago when it was at Hershey Park to see Story Of The Year, and Avenged Sevenfold when they were still touring on Waking The Fallen, and they were awesome. Some of the bands surprised me like Taking Back Sunday, and Matchbook Romance were really good live. I went to Warped in 2003. It was during my unfortunate ska phase, so I skipped out on Brand New (who I didn't like at the time but love now) to see the Mad Caddies.

I saw Taking Back Sunday on March 29th. They were amazing. Adam Lazzara has so much energy. Underoath opened for them. I'm not an Underoath fan, but apparently they're hardcore Christian, so they were talking about how Jesus helped them. Then a hundred people did the devil horns thing, only a dozen of whom were doing it ironically.

I also saw Fall Out Boy back in October 2005 just when they were starting to get famous (I know...I had a thing for a girl who was a huge FOB fan and she wanted to go). Panic at the Disco opened for them. Panic was pretty good live when you can't actually see who's playing the music.

I might go to Ozzfest this summer, but the only band I really like that's on the lineup right now is Nile. The rest is nucore crap.

I don't even think I could list every band I've seen if I tried. I've seen some bands 10+ times by accident. My favorite band is Sevendust, and I've seen them 21 times. Bands like Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, I've probably seen them 10-15 times each. I've seen nonpoint 12 times completely by accident, never once went to see them with the intention of seeing them (two tours with Sevendust will do that I guess). Those are just some off the top of my head haha...

I'm going to Flip Flop Summer Tour at Heinz Field in June. I'm talking Brooks & Dunn, Sara Evans, Pat Green, and of course, Kenny Chesney.

I probably take my son to see AC/DC though I have some doubt if it is safe for him since the crowd gets rowdy, his an 8 yrs old. He's been learning to play electric guitar and copying some of the AC/DC riffs. I'm hoping for any BLUE OYSTER CULT concert. I love to see BURNING Spear a reggae grouop. Saw them once here in Frisco in a club.

What would be amazing is if Garth Brooks decided to do a comeback tour or something.
