Give KC Hughes in the 2nd and Beekman in the 3rd and it's a lot better

3rd round pick really doesn't do anything to address any need for the Panthers. I'd be very surprised if we spent a day one pick on an O-linemen. Our coaching staff has said since the season was still going that the reason for our O-line problems in their mind was the injuries we had suffered. And I really can't see drafting anyone this year until we've seen how the linemen we have do in the new zone blocking scheme we're installing.

The 2nd rounder is interesting. Can you imagine two Steve Smith's on the same team. Though, Charles Gordon or Victor Abiamiri are strong possibilities there.

Very interesting first rounder. I like it simply because it's not the overdone Greg Olsen pick for us.

Good Eagles 1st rounder considering the circumstances (Griffin gone), horrendous second round pick (QB is not a round 2 need, and Edwards isn't the QB anyway) and I like your third round pick. Rufus Alexander or Tim Crowder is more likely in the second

sorry, but that draft for the Vikes is terrible.

No way do we reach on Leon Hall at #7 and pass up Adrian Peterson, not going to happen.

Gonzalez isn't worth that pick, he's the most over hyped player in this draft, i know scott has him going in the first but hes a 4th round talent at best, he might not even be in the top 15 of WR's.

Vikes wont take Ray MacDonald at in the 3rd, hes not close to BPA and he's not at a need spot (DT) for this team.

sorry, but that draft for the Vikes is terrible.

Then I must have nailed it...keeping with history and all.

For the Pats, a DE/OLB tweener like Moss is not a first round need. You could give us Brandon Siler/David Harris at 28 and then CB/RB/OLB round 3. Reggie Nelson and Zak DeOssie are solid picks, though.

josh wilson over ramirez

Pretty good browns mock, OLB probably won't be a need until the late rounds if at all. I would prefer Antonio Pittman instead of quentin moses.

ATL has Houston's 2nd round pick. So with that one, give us Ben Grubbs. In the 3rd, change Martin to Charles Johnson, and this is a perfect draft.

Good 1st
Okay 2nd
Good 3rd

I guess with Gaines Adams off the board, and given the fact that there are no trades in this draft, if the redskins kept the 6th overall choice I think LaRon Landry would be a nice pick.

D-Rod
04-22-2007, 10:43 AM
I'm not sure I like Peterson at #8, however great an RB he may be, but that is just my personal preference, it would certainly be a great value pick.

Atlanta has #39, and would probably take a D/O-lineman. I love Weddle at #44.

Also, if CJ is there in the 3rd, we would jump all over him.

I am not a fan of this mock for the Eagles. I think in this situation we would pass on Meriweather and pick up Lawrence Timmons. In the second round the Eagles would pick a safety in either Wendling of Piscatelli. I am OK with Hunt in the third, but another guy to look into is Anthony Waters.

We don't need a QB that early if at all, but other than that pretty good eagles mock.

Great Bucs draft except the Booker pick. Give the Bucs Marcus Thomas or Ray McDonald

Basically the same as all the others for the Eagles...OK I guess. Love Tony Hunt...but I'd really rather stack up defensively..

very good giants draft

Bills2083

I don't really like the Bills' draft. I'd rather it go something like this

1st: Patrick Willis: This is the easiest pick IMO.

2nd: Since you have Pittman falling to the 94th pick (I think he's a 2nd round talent), I'd take Craig Davis here. He comes in and becomes our #2 WR. He and Evans would create a good WR tandem.

3rd: I'd take Tanard Jackson here. He fits our Cover-2 scheme perfectly. He would compete with Youboty for the #2 CB with McGee as our #1.

3rd: Since Pittman is still on the board, he is our choice here. Like I said earlier, I feel that he is a 2nd round talent, and he would come in and become our #1 RB with A-Train spelling him.

My Draft:
1st: Patrick Willis
2nd: Craig Davis
3rd: Tanard Jackson
3rd: Antonio Pittman. If this were to be the Bills' draft, I would be ecstatic.

I absolutely hate the Vikings pick.

I absolutely hate the Vikings pick.

I agree with yeah. I dont like the Idea of a Nickel Back for us in the Top 10. I can handle Anthony in the 2nd i dont mind that but 3rd we need someone like Charles Johnson.

Jensen
04-22-2007, 02:04 PM
Give the Cardinals Justin Durant in the 3rd and that would be the best first day for the Cardinals I've seen yet in a mock.

great denver pick, having nelson available seems like such a tease but would def take anderson great picks

Just curious why you have the cowboys going ILB. The cowboys have been looking heavily for a rush backer...which sorta implies that Carp will be moving inside...just wondering if you heard something I haven't.

I agree if Dallas stays put Meachem is likely the pick...nice job overall on the whole mock.

Not crazy about the phins picks.... Levi is ok in the first but I would prefer Gonzo over Rice for our first second rounder, Trent Edwards over Ramirez for our second, and Wade over Smith in the 3rd.

Just trying to keep it realistic

defensiveback23
04-22-2007, 05:07 PM
You nailed the Chargers needs but not the right fits as players. At WR we need a speedy playmaker to compliment the trio of big possession recievers we already have. Jarret wouldn't be a good fit because the role he would play is already more than filled with players bigger and faster than him. I actually think that Craig Davis would be a much better pick at 30 even though it is sort of a reach.

2nd okay, kalil or if we go CJ edwards

3rdA okay, DT and DE are bigger needs IMO since we signed 2 TEs in FA

3rdB good

Go safety instead of Booker and it looks a lot better.
