If only BearShare had like a grizzly for its icon....instead, it has a litte cartoon happy bear with one of those helicopter hats. Limewire's icon is good and iTunes' is OK. idk why i care about these things.

I just buy from ITunes, it's pretty cheap and I don't need a whole lot of stuff. Mostly just find people with the CDs and rip them...

That's what I did.
However, right now... my computer I have is crappy, so I don't have either. Once I get a new good computer, I'll be getting ITunes again.

does it fk up ur computer? No, I think areslite is the safest one (I mean it hasn't screwed my cpu up and some tech guy said it was the safest one available). Bitlord screwed my cousins cpu up, but I downloaded photoshop off it just fine.

I use Torrents. They take a longgggggg time to get though...
Am I the only one who still buys CDs?
itunes is the second biggest rip-off of all time. i can't believe anyone's actually lazy enough to use that garbage. at least no one's said napster.

I buy CD's if what I download is good.. But CD's cost too much these days to go out and buy the CD of someone you're just hearing about because you like one of their songs; and most of the time that one song you like turns out to be their only good song.

Today, my mom told me that one of her clients is being sued for copyright infringement, and told me to delete all my music. Sure. I was freaking out for a bit, because if they sue you for that, along with what it is judged you must pay back, you have to pay for THEIR LAWYERS. So if they sued me for the 500 or so songs I have, instead of just 500$, I could end up having to pay 20,000$.
I'll just play the odds now. After 3 years, they can't sue you, which is semi-comforting. Getting caught is just as likely to happen as one in 5 people winning the lotto. I feel safe, BearShare stays.

i did use limewire, but it kept screwing up my computer, i first downloaded it, and i kept getting a little message that said "Network connection has been unplugged" so i uninstalled it, and reinstalled. Didn't have any problems until recently, so i uninstalled it yesterday, and now it's not doing that.
anyway, what should i get that would be safe, but won't slow everything down?
