#13) I dont Like The Rams Pick Hall would be a great pick because Okoye/Branch/Anderson/Willis gone but we do have Brown and Hill starting at CB

Love the 2nd and 3rd round pick

The Broncos don't need another undersized defensive end. Give us Alama-Francis, please.

Other than that, not bad.

Meachem in the 1st is good.

I reallllly don't like Brian Leonard in the 2nd. If we're gonna draft a RB, it needs to be a pure RB, and probably more of a shifty guy. We've got LenDale at RB and Ahmard Hall at FB/RB, who is 235 himself and runs a 4.49. He's a hammer and can run the ball some also. We'd be much better off with a guy like Booker in rd. 3 or so, if we take a RB. I think Woodley, Crowder, Moses, or Tanard Jackson would have been much better picks, especially one of the DE's....we need DL help bad.

3rd rounder is good.

you should really read the begining of the draft before you make ridiculus posts like this, what team are you talking about and what would you suggest.

Wow man, why dont you just chill out. I feel he's a better player, he has superior coverage skills and he is a hard hitter, if it werent for personality concerns he would be a top 15 pick no questions asked.
Griffin is a great pick but he is not as good an overall prosepct IMO.

18. Cincinnati Bengals – Jon Beason LB Miami (FL.)

What has Beason showed to make him the first OLB off the board?

25. New York Jets – Chris Houston CB Arkansas
63. New York Jets - Damieyon Hughes CB Cal

*cries tears of sorrow*

The Jets have 3 cornerbacks who are at least good enough to be a #2 starter. Andre Dyson, David Barrett and Justin Miller. They could draft one, but who knows, maybe they won't. They certainly don't need two corners day one.

If the Jets weren't happy with Derrick Strait, why would they be happy with the even slower Daymeion Hughes? And at 4.65, is Daymeoin Hughes even fast enough to play in the NFL? He certainly seems like the favorite to be a surprise UDFA.

Wow, thats drastic. He plays much faster then he ran. I understand why you wouldnt want two CB's i didnt notice that i did that.

If Hughes is around by the fourth round the Lions will take him. And ill be shocked if he's still there come our 4th round pick

Mark my words, Carolina will NOT pick a TE in the first round. Every year, the mocks have them picking one and we don't. This year is no different and please don't give the new OC excuse.

TE in the 2nd or 3rd is a possibility though.

Great first two picks (Willis, Pittman). With the 74th pick, I'd really like to take Jason Hill. (The #2 WR is a bigger need than TE for us). Then with the 92nd pick, I'd like to take Michael Coe. I think that he fits our scheme better than Bennett. Then, if he's still there, we can take Scott Chandler in the 4th round.

20. New York Giants – Lawrence Timmons LB Florida State

51. New York Giants - Tanard Jackson CB Syracuse

81. New York Giants – Mason Crosby K Colorado

1st rounder- good
2nd rounder- ok, jackson will play safety in the pros, so give us a pure CB like josh wilson who is absent from this draft
3rd rounder- no kicker, cmon. give us paul williams or manny ramirez

Adam Carriker is a great player and would fit right in our defense tremendously, but he is most likely not headed to Miami. Levi Brown or Joe Staley even would be more likely picks. Ted Ginn is even more probable at this point because DE is not our biggest need by a long shot although he is a great player.

No need for 2 WR's there in the second. Dwayne Jarrett is a great pick, but give us Rouse or Marten there instead of Davis and you've got a pretty successful Miami draft.

Meriweather is a nice pick and we would grab Tony Hunt if he's availiable. Overall, decent picks for the Eagles.

jarret and davis to the fins?? horrible horrible. why would we draft 2 wrs? that makes absolutely no sense.

04-24-2007, 06:07 PM
I could deal with the Eagles first two picks, as they are positions of need, but I doubt the FO takes Meriweather over Griffin. Meriweather has had some character issues, though resolved, and the Eagles won't take a chance on him. In the second round, MLB is a need, but so is DE and any of these guys (Crowder, Francis, Abiamiri) would be picked over those available MLB. I absolutley despise the third round pick. We don't need WR. I would go with Tony Hunt or Anthony Waters for our third round pick.

Yes it is drastic, but it always happens to someone. Ernest Shazor, Brandon Browner, Martin Nance, DeMarco McNeil, Kai Parham, Michael Munoz and more. I remember last year someone who was sitting behind me at last year's draft who kept expecting Anwar Phillips to go every day 2 pick that went by. He told me he had Phillips projects to go late second. He went UDFA.
