Via Roto:
Zack Crockett isn't expected to be in the Raiders' plans for 2007.
Oakland has replaced him with Justin Griffith, who plays the same H back-type position. The 34-year-old Crockett could opt for retirement.
He was a fan fav, and i'm sad to see him go.

Too bad he had to go, but as soon as we signed Griffith it was inevitable. That's the nature of the business.
Yah that sucks ass. Crockett is a great short yardage back and a Raider through and through. I wish him the best if he ends up somewhere else...

too bad to see him go he was def a fan favorite and in his heyday he was the best short yardage specialist in the league but this was a move that needed to be made. He wasnt an effective player anymore and not a good enough lead blocker.
