So just watched Joe Gibbs draft interview and there sure were some interesting comments he made. First off it was interesting to hear him say that with free agency and the players coming back he is so happy because he feels that the roster is complete and that there isn't a single position on the team that he is worried about. He said that they are so lucky because they have the luxury with the #6 pick to go with any player because they have no positional need, he said the player they draft at #6 will be bpa and we could even draft a player who will struggle to get time next year, of course I think it's just small talk and of course before the draft they won't show their hand but I kind of believe him. Another interesting thing is that when asked about Gaines Adams, Jamaal, and Okoye he didn't seem to ecstatic, and maybe he just forgot but it could be a sign as he went through every position on the team even Kicker, Punter, and longsnapper but the one position he forgot to mention about being solid at was safety, even more hinting towards my feeling that we will draft Landry. He said that he can't see the Briggs deal going down, and he has only received offers so far to move up and not to move down. Another interesting topic was when he was asked about bringing in Jamarcus Russell with Jason Campbell here. He had the strangest answer in that they brought him in for an interview and dinner because they want to get to know him in case in 7 years when his contract expires during free agency he will think of the skins. I think that is kinda rediculous and we should be spending our time on guys we might take. Obviously this was a very covered up interview but when he talks you can tell when he's lying, he is an awful liar, but I still love him.

LaRon would be a great pick for the skins, like Jamaal and Okoye. Gibbs always hides things, and it will be interesting to see who we pick. Gains could be picked, but IMO Jamaal, Okoye, or Landry are WAY better picks, and I would very happy with either of these picks. I do feel that we will get LaRon though..... =)

I loved when they asked him will you trade next years pick to acquire a pick this year he said, probably not, then winked and said he loves having an owner like Snyder because he gives him flexibility to make a move like that if they had to. I figure might as well just keep trading future picks for the rest of time, and we won't ever have to pay them back.

We have had the lowest ammount of picks for a few years now, I want to see the skins acually..... wait.... hold on...... have more than 1 pick in the first 4 rounds!

We have made good decisions while trading picks, but sometimes it is nice to get some fresh players in the first 3 or 4 rounds that can hopefully make some immediate impacts.

Except we gave way too much up for B Lloyd.

Except we gave way too much up for B Lloyd.

This is true.

I just don't know how Lloyd will turn out, we might take a shot at a WR in a later pick, but we really should take defence this draft.

I don't see why we keep thrash and lloyd, one of them should get traded for picks or something.

Not only that, but Russell will speak well of the Washington franchise to other players in whatever locker room he eventually goes to, players who could become free agents sought by Washington one day.

ahaha oh Gibbs, didn't know he had a joking side like that (the whole trading part and such) thats awesome.

also it's good that he thinks we dont have any glaring need, good to hear...also lets us take a great player at the same time with bpa...who hopefully is Laron Landry because that'd be absolutly sick.

LaRon Landry would be a great pick for the skins.

Yet we haven't met with realistic guys in trade downs like Charles Johnson or Abiamiri and we are wasting all of our time on a guy who might interest us in 7 years.

All this "talent" and great players at every position from a 5-11 team?

Okay..

Yes, lots of talent, once they play as a group they will be unstoppable (not really, but it sounds cool).

definitly have the weapons to make the playoffs with coaching/team effort.
