It has been a very long time since I posted a mock on this site, so I figured with three days to go before the draft, now would be a good time.
No trades, limited comments since my mind will probably change on a couple of these picks before I am done typing it up.
1. Oakland - QB JaMarcus Russell, Louisiana State
2. Detroit - DE Gaines Adams, Clemson (though a truly despise this pick)
3. Cleveland - QB Brady Quinn, Notre Dame
4. Tampa Bay - WR Calvin Johnson, Georgia Tech (but only in a deal with DET)
5. Arizona - OT Joe Thomas, Wisconsin
6. Washington - DT Amobi Okoye, Louisville
7. Minnesota - RB Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma
8. Atlanta - S LaRon Landry, Louisiana State
9. Miami - OT Levi Brown, Penn State
10. Houston - CB Leon Hall, Michigan
11. San Francisco - DE Adam Carriker, Nebraska
12. Buffalo - MLB Patrick Willis, Mississippi
13. St. Louis - DE Jamaal Anderson, Arkansas
14. Carolina - OLB Jon Beason, Miami (FL)
15. Pittsburgh - CB Darrelle Revis, Pittsburgh (that's redundant)
16. Green Bay - RB Marshawn Lynch, California
17. Jacksonville - S Brandon Merriweather, Miami (FL) (too high? I tend to disagree)
18. Cincinnati - DT Alan Branch, Michigan (hate to see the big guy fall this far)
19. Tennessee - WR Ted Ginn, Jr., Ohio State
20. New York G. - OLB Lawrence Timmons, Florida State
21. Denver - OT Joe Staley, Central Michigan (though I think they deal up for Branch)
22. Dallas - WR Robert Meachem, Tennessee
23. Kansas City - WR Dwayne Bowe, Louisiana State
24. New England - ILB Paul Posluszny, Penn State
25. New York J. - TE Greg Olsen, Miami (FL)
26. Philadelphia - CB Chris Houston, Arkansas (bring on the hatred!)
27. New Orleans - DT Justin Harrell, Tennessee
28. New England - S Michael Griffin, Texas
29. Baltimore - C Ryan Kalil, Southern California
30. San Diego - S Reggie Nelson (how happy would they be?)
31. Chicago - WR Anthony Gonzalez, Ohio State
32. Indianapolis - CB Aaron Ross, Texas
Questions, Comments, Dirty Remarks?
I plan on putting out a 4-5 rounder on Friday . . . stay tuned.
