It has been a very long time since I posted a mock on this site, so I figured with three days to go before the draft, now would be a good time.

No trades, limited comments since my mind will probably change on a couple of these picks before I am done typing it up.

1. Oakland - QB JaMarcus Russell, Louisiana State
2. Detroit - DE Gaines Adams, Clemson (though a truly despise this pick)
3. Cleveland - QB Brady Quinn, Notre Dame
4. Tampa Bay - WR Calvin Johnson, Georgia Tech (but only in a deal with DET)
5. Arizona - OT Joe Thomas, Wisconsin
6. Washington - DT Amobi Okoye, Louisville
7. Minnesota - RB Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma
8. Atlanta - S LaRon Landry, Louisiana State
9. Miami - OT Levi Brown, Penn State
10. Houston - CB Leon Hall, Michigan
11. San Francisco - DE Adam Carriker, Nebraska
12. Buffalo - MLB Patrick Willis, Mississippi
13. St. Louis - DE Jamaal Anderson, Arkansas
14. Carolina - OLB Jon Beason, Miami (FL)
15. Pittsburgh - CB Darrelle Revis, Pittsburgh (that's redundant)
16. Green Bay - RB Marshawn Lynch, California
17. Jacksonville - S Brandon Merriweather, Miami (FL) (too high? I tend to disagree)
18. Cincinnati - DT Alan Branch, Michigan (hate to see the big guy fall this far)
19. Tennessee - WR Ted Ginn, Jr., Ohio State
20. New York G. - OLB Lawrence Timmons, Florida State
21. Denver - OT Joe Staley, Central Michigan (though I think they deal up for Branch)
22. Dallas - WR Robert Meachem, Tennessee
23. Kansas City - WR Dwayne Bowe, Louisiana State
24. New England - ILB Paul Posluszny, Penn State
25. New York J. - TE Greg Olsen, Miami (FL)
26. Philadelphia - CB Chris Houston, Arkansas (bring on the hatred!)
27. New Orleans - DT Justin Harrell, Tennessee
28. New England - S Michael Griffin, Texas
29. Baltimore - C Ryan Kalil, Southern California
30. San Diego - S Reggie Nelson (how happy would they be?)
31. Chicago - WR Anthony Gonzalez, Ohio State
32. Indianapolis - CB Aaron Ross, Texas

Questions, Comments, Dirty Remarks?

I plan on putting out a 4-5 rounder on Friday . . . stay tuned.

With recent trangressions, I am leading to believe the Chiefs go OL round one. Justin Blalock please. Love the pick still.

I agree that O-Line is a bigger need than WR, but Bowe is substantially better than Blalock, IMO. Blalock would be a pretty big reach at 23, though I know many Chiefs fans might not care.

Good pick for the Saints with who's left on the board.

I'm not going to bring on the hatred, but I really really think the Eagles would go with Michael Griffin before they would take an overrated corner in the first round, but that's just me

It's definitely between those two guys, IMO. I heard that they might possibly move Sheldon Brown to Safety? Any truth to that?

Either way, I think any DB they bring in will be helpful.

I really don't think the Bengals need a DT that bad BUT I would be THRILLED with Alan Branch.

I figured the value was too good, and DT is a position of need, though not their biggest.

I could see a team like Denver dealing up for Branch if he's on the board around Cincy's pick . . .

But Branch is the BPA at that point, IMO.

I wouldn't mind getting Houston but Griffin is the better pick in that situation.

As an Eagles fan, I won't hate you, but I will object to what you gave us. CB is a need for us, but not first round. Houston is a great player, but we need a larger CB to play our Nickel. Our biggest need is SS, and Michael Griffin could fill that role. I truly beleive that if he is available, he is our pick.

As long as it's not Hall or Okoye, I'm happy.

Please Justify why we would take Chris Houston when Michael Griffin AND Reggie Nelson are both STILL on the board, Houston would play Nickel for 3 years, and CB is only our 4th need...
This is a HORRIBLE pick with Nelson AND Griffin on the board, so please, justify it

They can't pass on WR for another year.

lol, a comment like this cracks me up.

Mock drafts aren't meant to please the fans of every team, they are supposed to predict the outcomes.

JaMarcus is gonna be the pick, and any mock that doesn't have him #1 is flawed from the start.

Why bother? You will still hate the pick.

We'll see who's right on draft day. I'm not trying to appease the fans.

I would rather see Ben Grubbs at the Bears pick they need some help at guard. Garza is a great backup but not a starter and Ruben Brown is getting up in age.

Strongly considered it . . . they would definitely have gotten Blalock at 37 if I had done another round.

Landry is for sure the most likely pick in that situation, will be a stud in the NFL and will shore up our defense.

You really see Merriweather leapfrogging Nelson? While I personally do not like Nelson as a prospect, I don't think he will fall to end of the round one.

Nelson is falling.

It comes down to the fact that Nelson's questions of intelligence are more concerning than Merriweather's character problems (which many people feel are in the past and no longer a problem).
